Black tea (also known as red tea), green tea…but what on earth is “White Tea”??! Yea, it’s a new thing to discover yet it was used long time ago back in ancient China. Unbelievable right? It’s the Chinese secret of using white tea for health during the ancient days.
Days ago, I bought a facial foam with a label of “white tea”. And the description at the back of the facial foam tube stated that it’s even better than green tea. So, I was wondering, what is white tea (白茶) actually? After doing a bit of googling, I found the answer.
What Is White Tea?
What makes it so special? Simply put, white tea is the least processed form of tea, made of beautiful silver buds and select leaves which have been steamed and dried.
Because of its minimal processing, white tea contains more nutrients than its black or green cousins, making it the mightiest of the teas, the ultimate Health Tea.
