A.P.P.L.E

15th September 2007 was the CatsCity Clique. The event started from 2pm to 6pm. We headed to the airport around 1.35pm. It was a cloudy afternoon. The route to Kuching International Airport is very different now. Roads are widen, lamp posts with special black and gold unique design.

We were on our way to the airport. Why were we going to the airport? Because Starbucks Coffee is located in Kuching International Airport building. After a couple of minutes, we reached our destination. Till then, I had a very good look at this airport which has been renovated quite some time ago.

Okay, we didn’t know where is Starbucks Coffee, so after asking the service counter, we were told that it is located on the 3rd floor. Up we go…and there you see Starbucks Coffee. This is the ONE AND ONLY Starbucks Coffee we have here in Kuching (at the mean time). And my first time to have a drink from Starbucks Coffee.

The first thing we did is to meet Jimmy. This is our first time meeting each other. Well, it’s easy to recognize Jimmy because I’ve seen his photos in his blog before When we approached him, we were asked for our names. We kept silence for a while, and without any mistake, Jimmy knew us. “Apple, Cherry!” said him. Yup..haha we were here at last.

Then we were given 2 Advertlets badges and this special wristbands each.

We saw this cute poster on the pillar. Looks identical to the softcopy available in the net.

We were also asked to sign our names. It’s always good to be an early bird because you get to choose a better location to sign your names!

How can we forget the world wide recognition symbol of Starbucks Coffee? *snap snap*

This is me! Notice a white peace of sticker on my shirt? That’s a tag for recognition, the word “APPLE” was written on it.. erm, written by myself…haha (self service)

Met my friend Alysha too! This is the 2nd time we met. We didn’t take photo together that time. How could we miss out this time? ^^ Awww…look at my arms.. T_T Skinny Alysha makes me look ‘big’.

There were a lot of bloggers around…most are new faces to me. I know some faces..but I didn’t approached them. (For eg, Rose, Frankie) Those who know me should know that I’m not really the social type..and yesterday I was actually too shy to talk to anyone…Jimmy was so busy but still we managed to take photo together. (Jimmy can I have a copy of that photo too? ^^)

Gladiezz came and greeted me too! Thanks for talking to me, even though it was just a simple and short conversation. I also met Pazuzu.. Guess what? I met my ex-lecturer back in college too! He told me he’s not blogging, instead, his wife blogs…and I saw his cute baby. ^^

And of course, we met Josh Lim from Advertlets! He is a cool looking guy who love to have his special post when taking photos. hehe

Free drinks were given…we had some cakes too..but we were told that it would be accounted to Josh. *astonished* Thanks Josh! (Review on this in [Part 2], coming soon…)

One last thing to mention before closing this entry. There was a question-and-answer game…and the first prize is RM250. Cool..but haha..some questions were quite simple yet I was too shy to answer and everyone was fast too~ Sorry, didn’t take any pix regarding this. I was told that there was lucky-draw too. Didn’t know if my number was called? (number 17 is my number)…I left earlier around 4pm because we had to.

We also took some group photos…anyone can send a copy to me as well? ^^
