I’m thinking of buying a new digital camera. Although currently I have a 2nd hand Canon IXUS 300, the batteries wear out easily. I’m really frustrated by this. Every time when I want to borrow Dad’s Sony DSC-T50, he will say, “Use your own camera la..” =.=

I would like to hear your recommendation on buying a digital camera. Well, I’m not good in photographing, yet I need a better camera for blogging purposes. I would like the camera to have at least the following properties:
- no DSLR please, I don’t know how to use.
- anti-shake
- video recording (now all cams have this feature)
- 7 mega pixel and above
- 10x optical zoom and above
- produce good quality photos at night/dark places
- fast capturing (for eg. fireworks)
- size doesn’t matter
My budget? Around RM2000 - RM2500 should be fine. (Oh dear, gotta save a lot)
Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic….what else?
Which to choose?
