Holiday Inn Damai Beach Resort [2]

After check in, we were going to our hotel room. This is the first time I ever stayed in this suite located “on top of the hill”. In order to reach there, we had to take the hotel shuttle bus (free of charge of course, as it should be included in the fee already). Up we go~~

It was a short ride and we finally arrived. If we want to go to the beach or any other places, we will have to take the shuttle bus again. But how? Press the button and wait for the shuttle bus to come and fetch us.

This is how our accommodation looks like. It’s design is so unique and almost look like a Bidayuh hut.

Everyone was very excited as this is the first time we were going to stay in this special suite. Carrying along our bulky luggages, walking up the wooden stairs..was tiring. Our room number is 1602.

Look at this! “NO ENTRY. RESIDENTS ONLY” But we were the residents, so in we go. Yea, the compound here is ours (for the mean time).

It’s very spacious. Once we entered, to the left is somewhat like a kitchen. A sink is available. But we didn’t use it.

There’s a table and 2 chairs, and a resting chair at the end. At the other corner, there’s a washroom.

While I was busy taking photos, the others had walked up the stairs to the room.

Okay, Imma go up the stairs too!

The room is big.

The inside of this building is also very unique. Very tribal kind of feeling. This is the decoration near the bed.

Here’s another view. A little futher to the end is the ceiling fan.

2 double beds.

Guess what? Since Orange was not able to be with me on our 2nd anniversary day, I brought along my cute kuma-kuma.

The bathroom is quite big too. There’s a bath tub and a place for shower. You can choose which one you like to take your bath.

There’s a balcony too. You can get some fresh air and also have a wonderful view of the scenery.

And look far into the sea….beautiful.

And here is a view of houses alongside the road.
