Few days ago, I’ve just mentioned about the payment issued by Google. I really can’t wait to see the results! Yesterday morning, I went to the Western Union agent in RHB Bank. In Kuching, there are several Western Union agents available, including the post office. Why I choose RHB Bank? Because, I have a savings account there.

To know whether the Western Union service is available, search for the yellow “Western Union” signboard. I went to the Customer Service counter and ask for “Western Union”. The staff then asked if I want to send or receive payment. Of course I said “receive”. I was given a “Receive Money” form to fill in the details.

I was also asked for my Identity Card (IC). I filled in “GOOGLE INC” for the sender. I left the Amount Expected in RM blank, because I don’t know the exchange rate. So I left blank and let the staff handle it.

I expected them to ask me the purpose of the money like what LiewCF was being asked.  But they didn’t.  I asked if they could just account the payment to  my RHB savings account and they asked me to write down a remark in the form such as “Kindly account to my savings account XXXXXXXX (account number)”.

That’s it.  The exchange rate is 3.3217469.  Before leaving, I was given a carbon copy of the Western Union form and a final receipt.

Reminder, you might want to print out your payment details.  And remember your MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) which you can find under your Adsense payment detail.
