A.P.P.L.E

It’s been a long time since my last visit to the cineplex. On Wednesday, Orange and I decided to watch movie together to get back the feeling. We watched Beowulf. The storyline is quite okay but I have to say that the animation is near prefect!!

I’ve been told that this is an animation but I’ve forgotten. The first glance of the scene, I thought it’s real only until Orange told me that it looks like animation. This animation looks realistic, just like the computer graphics we see in World of Warcraft trailer.

The story is about a warrior named Beowulf, traveling across the sea to help King Hrothgar defeat Grendel, the monster who was giving trouble to the kingdom for all this while. After defeating Grendel, Beowulf was somehow seduced by Grendel’s mother (model based on Angelina Jolie) who posses a seductive sexy body (and of course she is also a demon). Beowulf has become the king until one day, a golden dragon came for revenge who turned out to be his own son with Grendel’s mother….

“Beowulf… Stay with me. Give me a son, and I shall make you the greatest king that ever lived. This… I swear…”

It’s a curse. Whoever “trade” with the demon will never have son to continue his throne..and the story goes on as the curse continues…the legend repeats…

If you love animation, you should not miss this! The computer graphic is really splendid. I like the soundtrack too…especially the part when the queen singing along with her mini harp (Robin Wright Penn as queen Wealthow).
