Singapore Trip: The Journey Begins

Category: Travel

After having our tea break, it was almost time for departure. Let’s go to Gate 7 for boarding. Our flight was 11.10am, using MAS (Malaysia Airlines).

Before leaving, I was a bit depressed. Standing near the window, thinking of my love as I was going to be away for 4 days 3 nights.

It was time to enter the plane. A view from inside the aircraft.

We were flying in the sky, looking down, this is part of Kuching.

We were served food shortly. There were 2 choices from the menu: 1 - chicken curry with rice; 2 - fish with potato.

Cherry and I had fish with potato. Dad had chicken curry with rice.

Chicken curry with rice

Maybe Dad get use to seeing me taking photos whenever we want to eat, he even asked me to take a photo of him putting sugar to his hot coffee.

Coffee or Tea? I don’t drink any of these in the aircraft, because I fear that I might vomit when I’m “in the air” drinking strong beverage. Normally I request for juice.

Besides eating, nothing much we can do in the aircraft. So, spent a little time reading the MAS magazine and took some photos.

Clouds all around~~

It takes approximately 1 hour 25 minutes from Kuching to Singapore. That’s quite fast. Now, we can see the edge…it’s Singapore’s territory.

Many ships around, most were leaving the ports to their destination.

Take a look at part of the Singapore map. I thought I saw Jurong!

Okay, perhaps I should talk less. Let’s take a look at what I’ve shot. My friend said the view is so beautiful, she hasn’t got the chance to even travel in an airplane.

Really crowded…

Beautiful…

I like this pic..

Where is this?

Take a closer look at the sea from the above view.

And then, we finally landed…. Singapore Changi Airport. You can see an aircraft from Singapore Airlines.

While waiting for exit, simply took a photo of our plane…. Looking outside and saw this guy with hat, wonder what will happen if he accidently get sucked by that spinning turbine. ><

This is the first scene I saw when I stepped into the airport.

The airport is damn big, just follow the “Arrival” sign, in case of lost.

There are lots of big and nice advertisements along the path way which look like this:

And this:

Walked for quite a distance, down the stairs..and now we saw this “welcome” sign.

We arrived in Changi Airport Terminal 2. There are 3 terminals, which Terminal 3 has just launched recently.

From this point onwards, we can’t take pix…no, no pix please, not at the immigration counter.

Stay tune for more Singapore trip updates…
