Still remember end of last October I just joined WidgetBucks and mentioned it here? A bad news for all bloggers who signed up for this program who are outside the United States and Canada. Because starting from 15th November 2007 (according to the U.S time), ANY clicks from outside the United States and Canada will not be calculated, hence won’t generate income in your WidgetBucks account!! And still you are giving free advertising, because once someone outside the stated country click on your WidgetBucks ads, they will be directed to Mpire.com.

Confused? In short, if you have a majority of readers (who would probably click on your WidgetBucks ads) from the United States or Canada, this program might still be useful to you. But if you are same like me, having a majority of readers from outside the stated countries, you might not be getting income from now on.

Am I going to remove WidgetBucks widget in my blog? Previously, I had added 2 WidgetBucks widget. But I have just taken one down. As I’m still putting in some hope, eventhough it seems really hard to start earning from this program for us outside the United States and Canada. I really hope to cash out at least once…or perhaps the first and the last time. Why? Because of this:

We are now taking two steps to help rectify the situation, which we anticipate will help recover RPC levels over the next 7 to 10 days.
