Boulevard is a new shopping mall in Kuching. It was said to be open in 19th December 2007. However, due to some reasons, possibly bad weather condition, the development process has extended and it is said this coming Saturday, 22nd December 2007, will be Boulevard’s official launching.

It is located at 4th Mile in Kuching. Since heavy machinery is ahead, everyone drive slowly and get the chance to capture some picture of the Boulevard building.

Look at the weather…I wonder if they can finish everything by tomorrow.
Last night, we went to take some photos of the building. Night view of Boulevard.

Personally think it looks nicer than the other opening-soon shopping mall called The Spring.

Close up view of “BOULEVARD”.

The workers were still busy working even it was 9pm already. They probably are on shift, working non-stop 24 hours.

Anticipating…I’m waiting to visit Boulevard tomorrow and heard that Sushi King will be open there too!!! Yipee~~ Kuching’s first Sushi King ever!
More pic here.

@LeeChien,
Went there last night. There are still many shop lots not open yet. Branded outlets like LeeCoper, Converse, Kenny Rogers… I believe there’s more but don’t know what will be opening soon.
@wombok,
You’re welcome. And OMFG…it IS jamming all the time.

Wow looks grand! Its about time Catcity got such a mall. Hope there would be a lot more. Just hope they maintain some Sarawak identity with the interior. Go international but be unique. Dont need another “KL mall” at Catcity. Would give us more reason to visit!

@Seg,
I agree with you. Hope they can still maintain our own Sarawakian style.

@Eric,
You’re welcome. Perhaps next time you visit Kuching, you can head over to Boulevard. If you want a more “KL-Style” feel, you can go to tHe Spring instead.
