Previously, I’ve mentioned about a wedding invitation. The dinner was held in The BanQuet. With my really lousy 2nd hand Canon IXUS 300, I only managed to take some but not all food pictures. I was really pissed off when the battery ran off. (I fully charged it before hand..yet… it’s time to get a new battery or a better cam?)

Do you need any extra sauce or vinegar?
You will realized that almost every Chinese dinner will start with this dish, known as Leng Pan (”cold dish”).

This dish is a MUST in any big dinner event. The shark fin soup. I couldn’t capture a shot because they seem to be in a hurry to finish up all the food. =(

Here comes the steamed fish. Really had to do a very fast shot of it, couldn’t grab a better angle. =(

This is nice, but I don’t know why not many people ate it? I like the sauce, it’s a mixture of red onion with other ingredient - sweet. Roasted Chicken.

I want to mention something that really makes me “sweat”. Each table served 10 person, but we only have 9 person in total and I’m the ONLY ACTIVE BLOGGER who was crazy taking food photos in that seat!! There’s another 2 bloggers but they show no interest in taking any food photos. And there were another 2 ladies…only know how to quickly grab the food and spoil my photo results..and this is what I get… =.=

Notice the “hole” in the yam mixed veggie? (you can click for larger view) Nice job done by the lady.
This is making me very embarrassing, because I still wanted to take photos for the other food…Here is another plate of veggie.

Because of my weak battery, this is the last shot that I could have during the dinner. I tried many times and finally manage to take one shot and then the battery is totally flat!! By the time I managed to take a butter prawn picture, it’s already been eaten by half!!

Let’s take a look at the next table of bloggers…Everyone is a blogger and will practice the “blogger habit”….no embarrassment, no time limit, just enjoy shooting…

The lesson of this story is: never arrange your blogger friends to sit with non-blogger friends. Or else, your blogger friends cannot enjoy themselves during photo taking, thus hard to submit a blog post on the particular event.
Anyway, the food is really tasty. There’s another 2 dishes. You can take a look at the complete food photos in Jimmy’s blog.
