If you are a seafood fan, you must visit this place if you are in Kuching. Topspot Seafood Centre, is an eating out where you can have local cuisine serving fresh veggies and seafood products. It is located in the city, at the rooftop of a parking building named Taman Kereta (direct translation will be “Car Park”).
There are many food stalls available in this place, most serving seafood – a seafood heaven. (It’s semi open air dining place) Among all those stalls, Dad prefer eating at stall number 6: Ling Loong Seafood.

We went to have our dinner on his birthday.
You can observe a varieties of fresh veggies and seafood products just right in front of the stall. Also a good “inspiration” for you to decide what to eat.

What sort of fish is your favorite?

Fresh fresh~ lobsters?

Big fat prawns.. they are raw, you can’t eat yet.

And this…I don’t know how to call this in English. In Iban (one of Sarawak native races) language, it’s called Ikan Butuh. It looks more like a worm or if you take a closer look, it almost resemble the “male organ” (You get what I mean? =.=)

Live crabs…how pity =(
*Finger pointing* How about that one over there?

I would recommend you to drink fresh sugar cane drink, if you visit this place. However, that time I didn’t feel like having fresh sugar cane, so I ordered a glass of ice lemon tea.

Now, it’s time to have some food. We ordered quite a lot of things. So beware, if you are hungry right now….
First dish is fried noodle, or we call it the birthday noodle. (shou mian 寿面) The noodle is crispy with very hot and nice gravy.

Next, we had stir fried mixed veggies. Hmm..nothing special about this dish, though.

I’m not quite sure about this, but it seems like deep fried fish in Thai style, as you can see there are chillies and mango slice as the topping. Quite tasty.

This is Ling Loong’s exclusive tofu dish. Very Chinese style.

This is the best among all, at least for me. Butter prawn. yummy~

Next, we had chicken. This is sort of another Thai style chicken. A little too sweet though.

Aha~ and now, let me present you the mystic-looking seafood – Ikan Butuh with curry. I like the curry gravy.

The last dish is black pepper crab. Not really a crab fan because of a very lame reason – I don’t really know how to remove the crab meat from the shell =.=

That’s what we had for dinner that day. Remember if you really love seafood, you can give this place a try. Price is still reasonable. The above dishes were prepared for 10 pax at the total amount of RM200.
