If you love yourself, you should get a good mattress. A low quality mattress will cause bad effects to your spine. You may wake up whole body soring because you don’t have a good mattress and you can’t sleep in a good posture.
Choosing a good mattress is not really that easy. You have to consider two main factors: the structure and the composition of the mattress. This is all for health sake. The structure of a mattress has the direct connection with orthopedic properties. And the composition of the mattress has hygienic and aesthetic effects, as some people might be allergy or has skin diseases.
Take care of your spine! Get a spring mattress. Not every spring mattress is good mattress. You have to consider the quality and quantity of the spring. Better quality mattress has more spring in it.
Just like a toothbrush, you need to change a mattress at least every 5 years. Astonished? Yes, I was too. We do this for a reason, mate. No matter how good is your mattress, it will lose its orthopedic properties and stuffed with lots of dust and dirt in the long run. (But I believe most of us will change mattress only when its spring wore out.)
Now, how to check your mattress is of high quality?
Sit on your mattress, place a bottle of water at 30cm distance from you. If the bottle won’t fall, means the mattress is of high quality.
Last but not least, remember to turn your mattress over every 2 to 3 months~
