Officially Mine

Category: Life Log

Early last January this year, the Perodua Kenari that I have been driving for the past few years, have become officially mine. Now, I’ve gained the car ownership. I’m lucky enough that I don’t have to pay a single cent as the loan has been cleared some time ago by Dad.

Now, I am responsible for paying the car road tax, fuel expenses and of course auto insurance. If you ever think of buying an auto insurance, you can always get an auto insurance quote, before purchasing a suitable plan for your vehicle. I have my auto insured. How about you?

    Well, my 4 year old Atos is consuming roughly RM0.15 per km. How much consumption is your Kenari? Petrol is rising soon… So scary…

    @headsteadi,
    Haha..thanks but it seemed not running very smooth during CNY.

    @Shay,
    Thanks, in fact nothing special because I’ve been using that car for around 6 years. I’ll find a chance to take some pics of my car.

    @iCalvyn,
    yea..that’s a nightmare. I’ve been buying petrol since I start working.

    @ColourfulWorld,
    I’ve just calculated mine, it also roughly RM0.15/km. I’m trying to save petrol by not switching on the air-conditional and avoid going far places. lol..and it works.

    how do u ppl count how much petrol per km for ur car? thanks

    @lynn,
    I have a habit of setting the counter to zero every time I refill the fuel. Normally I need to go and refill whenever the counter approximately reaches 330 km/hr. Every time I spend RM50 for a full tank refill. So, by doing some calculation in the form of RM50 divide 330 = RM0.15. That’s a rough figure.
