“L Change The World” is the movie that I’ve been anticipating since last year. I’m glad that I’ve watched this movie on Wednesday, right after I watched Three Kingdoms.

Some people called this as “Death Note 3″. Well, in fact it is not another story for Death Note. If you have watched the previous Death Note 1 and 2 live action, you should know that both Light and L are dead. Unlike the original manga or anime, L dies first, then M and N become the successor of L to defeat Light. This, is a tribute movie for L. Showing what he did during the last 23 days before his death. Of course, this is a filler. If you are a L fan, this is a must watch.
Ken’ichi Matsuyama still look very cool by playing the role of L. If you can’t get enough of L during the previous series, believe me, you gotta watch this! In Death Note 2, we know that L wrote his own real name “Lawliet” into the Death Note, and he is going to die in 23 days. Wonder what happen to the Death Notes? (2 Death Notes, 1 from Yagami Light, 1 from Misa-Misa) Spoiler here….L burns them.

The story line is about someone spreading virus to kill the population in order to “clean the world”. L then starts his investigation and try to solve the case. There are several character appearance which you never hear or see from the original manga or anime. At the starting scene, you can spot for F, another guy from the Watari community. Then, you can see another character known as K, a female.

Basically, this is a serious movie but of course there are some hilarious parts. L still loves to eat sweet stuff ^^

The little girl here plays another important role and she is good in acting at her age! She somehow looks like M (Mello, see her hair style). Another fellow which I want to mention is a prodigy kid. One the first sight, I had a feeling that he is N. This sounds like a fun idea to make L meet N. Because in the manga, N appears only after L’s death.

This little guy is very cute ^_^ We don’t know his name until towards the end of the story when L sends him to the Watari school, and gives him a name “Near”, thus a nick of N.
Take a look at the trailer:
Have you watched this movie?

@3POINT8,
Have fun. I’m looking for BT of this movie =.=
@joshuaun,
Not really difficult to understand, as long as you have watched DN1 and 2. It’s a little related to this movie. Make sure you do some “homework” before watching this movie.
@Alvin Lim,
You should get some time to watch those live action. Worth it.
Cool. N is really a prodigy too!! “nobody likes Light” I laughed when I saw this. Well, I have a friend who like Light very much.
@Renge,
Haha..yea I also think maybe she is M, if not why don’t L give the little boy the code name of ‘M’ instead of ‘N’? hehe

I have watched the previous Death Note 1 & 2 and don’t aware about this spin off movie until saw the trailer in TV. Well, poor people like me have no money to buy the cinema ticket, so gonna wait for BT too.
