Granado Espada, known as Sword of the New World: Granado Espada in the North American version, is a Korean fantasy MMORPG developed by IMC Games Co.,Ltd. 3 days ago, I just tried out this game. It was launched here in Malaysia last year. However, I never thought of playing it until recently I see players (in cyber cafe) playing this game. The graphics and game play have caught my attention. So Orange and I started our new journey in Granado Espada.

Granado Espada distinguishes itself from many modern-day MMORPGs with a Multiple Character Control, or MCC, system. Rather than playing one character at a time, or using multiple clients, players may control a party of up to three characters at a time, making gameplay similar to a real-time strategy game. Up to three characters can be selected to be part of a team within the “Quarters” at the barracks. Any member of the party can be selected to be part of a team, regardless of differences in levels or classes.
This is something new for me in the world of online games.
Pictures worth a thousand words, so I’m going to share some screenies rather than wording too much. (Click images for larger view)
You can make multiple characters from 5 classes. You can see that each costume for each class is well designed and very detail, and of course elegant.
Female Fighter
Female Wizard
Female Scout
Female Musketeer
Female Elementalist
Male Fighter
Male Wizard
Male Scout
Male Musketeer
Male Elementalist
The whole game feel is like having fantasy in the olden days in Western country. Now, let’s take a look at some game play screenshots. You can join Squad (party) and play in group, enjoy lots of killing spree.
Gaint monster… you can zoom in and out, rotate to the angle that you feel comfortable with.
Ouch!
These screenshots were taken by Orange, so it’s his game characters. Now, take a look at mine. See the lady in red? Yea, my favorite Elementalist~! (She has big boobs)
Even NPCs are beautiful.
Oh, and also handsome.
Very nice graphics right? All these screenshots were taken using Orange’s PC with GeForce 8 series.. I can’t show my screenshots taken in my PC with great great grand father GeForce 2 =.=” (too ugly)
Other than that, the music is quite nice too. There are many music inside, but these are 3 of them for you listening pleasure. I love the first song most. That’s the opening theme.
If you feel like experiencing this for yourself, head over to Granado Espada official site. Best of all, it’s FREE to play.

@Renge,
Ahha..you can create lots of characters with a mixture of male and female characters.
@levian,
Not really like Cabal, because this you control multiple characters at a time. And if you just AFK there and set the characters to “Keep mode”, it will auto attack whenever there is mobs near by. I strongly recommend this game for someone who is lazy but still want to play game (saying myself =.=).
@Deimos Tel`Arin,
Actually I not sure where is the server located (never really go read the official sites =.=) Well in that case not really launched in Malaysia, hmm..how about being introduced to Malaysian players..lol This is a free game but can purchase game points for in game items.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the info.
It seems that there are more and more free to play MMORPGs with pretty graphics aye?
I am playing Perfect World at the moment, there is a local server so the ping is less than 100ms.
Can get less than 20ms ping if I am using my neighbour’s super fast connection.
P/S: He is the director / boss / founder / owner of some IT company and he has a super fast internet connection at home.
Oh yeah he has a wireless network enabled, not password protected so me who lives next door can use it.

Wow, that’s a cool game. O.o The environment looks a lot like World of Warcraft mixed with Final Fantasy XI elements, except all the characters are human. XD
