Exercise Ball
Posted on May 18 in Health, Life Logby ApplePrint

I’ve been following my diet plan for 2 months plus. Just measured my body weight this morning and apparently I’ve lost 5kgs! That’s really a very encouraging figure. However, recently I hesitate if this is really good enough as I still have lots of “extra meat” around my tummy, arms and legs (although I lost weight). I decided to get some workout.
The easiest way is to jog. But jogging in the sun can really tan my skin. We have no 4 seasons here so it will be rather hard to have fair skin texture again.
I’ve always wanted an exercise ball, so yesterday I finally get one for myself!

A Gymnic Classic Plus 55cm exercise ball, a blaster pump and a tutorial VCD. All together cost me RM176.00 which I think is still affordable and I’m lucky to buy these things when they are having a sale.
There are only 2 colors left for the 55cm exercise ball – green and red. You must be thinking I will purchase the green one, right? Nope, I bought the red one. The green is a bit dull that’s why I didn’t purchase it. (By the way, green is not my favorite color. My blog theme is green but my favorite color is blue
)

It can be addictive to bounce on top of the ball. It feels so “shiok”. Exercising with this ball is not easy at first. But there are plenty of tutorial available for using the ball. Guess now I have something new to learn. Hope this can help flatten my abdomen when time passes.
If you also think of getting an exercise ball, then the following information will be useful.
Before purchasing an Exercise Ball you need to pay attention to 2 things:
1. Size of the ball
2. Quality of the ball
What ball size should you purchase? It depends on your height:
| Height | Ball Size |
|---|---|
| 4′ 11″ – 5′ 3″ | 55 cm |
| 5′ 4″ – 5′ 10″ | 65 cm |
| 5′ 11″ and above | 75 cm |
For the quality of the ball, make sure you get those made of higher quality plastics that are anti-burst or burst resistant.
