Yesterday was the DuanWu festival or known as the Dragon Boat Festival. Normally on this day, the Chinese will eat meat dumplings known as Zong Zi (Mandarin) or Bak Zang (Hokkien dialect). I only ate few spoon of dumpling yesterday. This morning, my colleague gave me one, so I’m gonna eat it later during lunch time.
Here are some photos of very beautiful dumplings received in my inbox. Take a look.

Have you eaten yours?

LOL, weird looking. Perhaps they are from Taiwan or China. We here in Malaysia don’t take dumplings as fancy as those.

I love these dumplings… but too bad I don’t eat pork and most of them uses pork as its main ingredient… I had a bit of this kou chung this morning, minus the peanuts.. had to skip the peanuts due to my cough.. huhu

@melbie,
Oh you don’t take pork? Well, there are vegetarian dumplings available too. Don’t know if you can find those in KK.
