Big Apple has been in tHe Spring, Kuching for some time already. But I never taste it until last Sunday when LeeChien decided to give me a treat. It was weekend, and it was crowded.

This is my first time going to a donut shop. You can choose a variety of flavors of your choice.
Too bad that time Orange was not with me, or else I think he would order one flavor each.

Just in front of the shop lot, you can see the staff adding the flavors to plain donuts. Craving cheese on top and it become “Say Cheese”.

See those colorful dips? All for the donuts. Sweet and fatty as well. Not encourage to take such junk food too often, or else you will end up like a ball.

This guy is funny. He peeped me when I was trying to take his photo. I think it’s fun to watch the making of the donuts.

And in the inner part of the shop, you still can observe the making of donuts.

Looks fun. Dough is cut into round shape and put on top of hmmm…cloth, I suppose.

You can order drinks too. Best if you dine in, have a bite of donut and some rich flavored drinks.

This is the price list for the donuts. Expensive? Well…yea, but worth a try.

6 pcs? or a dozen? You choose. Which one is nicer? The tray that is nearly empty should be nicer, I suppose?

Yes! We finally ordered 12 pieces of donut. Thanks to LeeChien.

I was so excited because I never try this before!!

So colorful, right? I was aiming for the white with chocolate stripe one!

We also ordered drinks and was given a simple donut each for free.

There….I was excited to take my first bite of the donut!

Ooooooohhh~ Delicious. Inside is peanut butter filling.

And….haha..this is LeeChien. She is so generous for the donut treat. Thanks again, buddy.

According to LeeChien, the donuts from JCo is much better than Big Apple’s. However, this is my first time having such donut. I think it’s not bad, I like the feeling. But beware…it’s fat.

this crowd is not so crowded as it used to be. Now very quiet edi.. Crowd getting smaller too. Worse is that, the donuts priced increased, the size decreased, filling decreased.. sigh

Yup, those in KL, mostly says JCO is better, but some says Big Apple is better than JCO. I guess it depends on your personal preference. Too bad I didn’t get to try JCO when I was in Jakarta though.
Fatty, yes, but when it comes to donuts.. all those thoughts of watching over what I eat will go down the drain.. I simply love these donuts with flavours! Used to get my aunt/cousins/friends to take away some Dunkin Donuts for me from KL whenever they come back to KK
But I don’t like the taste of Green Tea Donut from Big Apple though hehe
