A.P.P.L.E

Nowadays, there are more and more branded franchise around in Kuching. This is something new to Kuching folks and also mean encouraging of spending more (which is not a good idea). More and more cafe is offering wifi service here. But we chose to have our first DonutBite forum gathering at Starbucks Coffee of Kuching International Airport.

We chose to hold the gathering in the airport as less people around and it’s quieter.  Our gathering started at 8pm. Oh, by the way, this gathering was held on 5th July, also as a celebration of DonutBite’s 1st birthday which falls on 9th July.

As usual, I like to order cold drinks.And Orange always goes for hot drinks. We shared a slice of marbel cheese cake. We didn’t have our dinner before the gathering…

These are some of the DonutBite forum members. Except for Orange and Cheese who were on the right of the photo below.

The founder, Alysha (the girl in black on the left in the photo above), prepared some questions for the Q&A game. Based on those questions, I prepared a slide for the presentation. Oh, that’s my laptop which I’m using now. It’s my best blogging partner when I’m at home.

These are some of the members who attended the gathering. Not much actually, but it was more than those who attended the same gathering in KL (Donutbite has a lot of members from West Malaysia too!).

Can I call this “door gift”? It was given by Alysha to everyone who attended the gathering.

I like the tiny biscuit..hehe

This gathering can said to be successful. Just too bad that the wifi was unstable that it gave “limited connection or no connectivity” when my laptop wireless dectected the signal. At the end, we were unable to communicate with those in KL Starbucks. What a pity.
