12th July 2008 was KuchingBloggers.com first blogger meet, namely “Kuching Bloggers’ Meet 2008“. As one of the members of KuchingBloggers.com, I attended the gathering with Orange, Cherry and Cheese who are also members. The gathering was held in Sharing Planet 分享. It is said that Sharing Planet serves good food and always has many customers. However, this is the first time I dine in Sharing Planet.
It’s more like a garden to me. It was dark so I couldn’t really see how nice the surroundings is.
The decoration around is more to a nature theme.
This portion is open for public, whereas for bloggers, we have the backyard as our venue.
This is the counter area.
More and more bloggers arrived. We had our name tags and also sign our names on the board. I couldn’t get a better photo of this, so only showing mine and Orange’s signatures.
Door gift was given to each of us. I like the keychain very much! Many things were prepared for that night’s meeting.
Free drinks was available for all of us. Green tea is a wise choice.
Finger food like onion rings was served.
I met up with Blurgal (the girl in green) too! I just knew her yesterday when she visited my blog and left a message in the chatbox. Cool? She is a cute girl. ^_^
Actually, the most anticipated thing that I wanted to see is the true identity behind Darth Vader. I CAN’T BELIEVE HE REALLY WEAR HIS MASK!! Wombok, you are the man!

And then, there was this lucky draw and Q&A. The winner will be given presents. Orange is my lucky star!
This is what he received during the lucky draw. A RM10 cash voucher from SilverPoint.
I am really amazed by the speed of other bloggers for updating the post on this bloggers’ meet. You can check out more photos taken by Edwin here or check out the name list of bloggers who attended the meeting. However, some didn’t turn up. So the initial plan of 50 bloggers ended up with 40++ bloggers. All in all, this is a quite successful gathering.
