My New Workplace

Category: Life Log

Last Saturday, 26th July, was my first day working in a new environment. And today will be my second day. I can’t tell how good or how bad it is. My new working place is located in a shopping complex, a company that sells computer products and services. My “office” is quite small and crowded which is shared among my other 3 colleagues. 2 of them are my senior back in college.

This is my work desk. A 14″ CRT monitor, a Microsoft opitcal mouse and a don’t-know-what-brand keyboard (the touch on the keys is great), and the CPU underneath the table. I really can’t compare this with my previous office computer. I have to say that this computer is hell slow. It’s running Windows XP on 192MB of RAM only. =.=

The network is slow too, probably because the connection is shared among all of us. Anyway, I am not blogging in the office, so I don’t think it has any great impact towards my usage of that computer. Now, I will have to learn the new system and have to learn more about the company, as well as recognizing (remembering faces and names) other colleagues which are in different departments.

This is another “messy” corner in my office.

Yea….that’s what we called the warranty department.

Benefit of working here:

  • Can sleep late and wake up late.
  • Can easily get food for lunch. (Don’t have to wake up early to cook)

Okay, I’m gonna be late if I keep writing this. Have to go to work now.
