Success: Blog Theme Changed

Category: Blogging

After around 24 hours of work, I’ve finally completed my new blog theme modification. I’m glad to present you my new modified 3 columns blog theme - KumaGreen 2.0.

As you can see, there’s some changes around, so I’ll let you figure out yourself. By the way, my Blogroll section is still “ugly”, need some more time to tweak it.

Do you like my new theme?

Changing Blog Theme

Category: Blogging

Not again?! Yea, I’ve decided to change my blog theme. You can see that recently I’m a bit slow in updating this blog as I’ve been thinking of changing my blog theme. If you have been my reader for a while, you should probably know that I will never use a “ready-made” theme without self modification. I will always pick the best layout for my blog and start to mod the images and visual effects (trial and error, of course!).

My little Kuma-Kuma will be helping me to “renovate” my blog.  I would have to take some new photos of my Kuma-Kumas to make a new header image *scratching head, looking for inspiration* My current theme is actually the best modifcation I have done so far (at least for myself, I love my current theme a lot). I feel I need to change it because the code structure behind this theme is not so well-coded by the original author after I changed the width for the main text area.

My blog loads quite slow with this theme, especially the main content and even worse, the blog title. (The blog title and the main text is loaded together as they are in the same chunk of codes)

A little spoiler of my new blog theme:

  • It’s gonna be a green theme. Green is good for the eye and it’s the best color to represent apple and Kuma-Kuma (turtle). But my favorite color is blue.
  • Relocate widgets. May remove some less benefit widgets and / or adding some great ones.
  • A 3 column theme. I used to stick with 3 column and now I’m going back to 3.

Okay…since I’m going to do some changes to my blog interface, do you have any suggestion for my blog improvement? Or content wise, what else do you wish to read more from my blog? Hope to get your feedbacks in the comment.

Thanks ^_^

Localized Online Ads

Category: Cute/Interesting

It’s become a trend to do business online. A simple blogspot.com blog can become a platform for online business, ie. online boutique. But you still need to market your blog / website / services or whatever you are offering when you bring it online. Then you will need online advertising.

There are several online advertising companies in Malaysia nowadays, targeting the local market (audience). I doubt any foreigners who never learn Malayasian culture before, understand this word.

HAVE YOU KENA HACK BEFORE?

KENA” hack…
some of you will start wondering what the heck is “kena”.

That’s for the local audience, giving audience a closer feel with Manglish.

Interesting, aye?

Into J-Pop

Category: Music

Do you love music? I bet all of you here at least have a collection of music (MP3s) in your computer. I spend most of my time in front of the computer, so I haven’t turn on the radio set in my room for ages! I like to listen to music in my computer because it’s very convenient and I don’t need any audio racks to hold all the CDs.

Recently, I’m into J-pop or Japanese songs.  I’m trying to listen to various artists to find the right music for me.

Do you know YUI has released her 13th single “SUMMER SONG” on the 2nd this month?

And my new idol Alan Dawadolma has also released her 3rd single “Longing Future” on the 2nd as well. Before that, she also released a Chinese EP “Xin Zhan~Red Cliff~” for the upcoming Three Kingdom theme movie - Red Cliff.

Any Chinese / Japanese traditional musicial instruments can really make me breathless. I just get to know a very cool Japanese girl band Rin’ which consist of 3 ladies. They are really sugoi. They play the traditional musicial instruments like koto but in a very modern music arrangement. They sing well too!

Listen to this Sakura Sakura then you will know what I mean.
