Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting “haunted houses”, and carving Jack-o’-lanterns. This holiday is mostly celebrated in Western countries. However, there are also people celebrating it here in Malaysia. (I never been to a Halloween party before, anyway.)
It should be fun to be in Halloween Costumes! When you talk about costume, it’s not limited to kids only. You can also get some sexy outfit just for Halloween. Cool right?
So what is Halloween all about? It’s not just a day for cosplay.
The modern holiday of Halloween has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain. The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the “Celtic New Year”. Traditionally, the festival was a time used by the ancient pagans to take stock of supplies and slaughter livestock for winter stores. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, the boundary between the alive and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, where the bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them. - Wikipedia
In other words, Halloween is like the ghost festival.
Although it’s still early, have you prepare your own halloween costumes? It doesn’t have to be those creepy looking costume. You can get yourself a cute or stunning costume just to celebrate this holiday. It’s just like a costume parade. Sounds exciting but I never been in one before!! LOL.

It’s been awhile since I’ve went to a Halloween party =) But the last few times, I remember I went as a black cat (pretty simple)and I was a pumpkin one year (^_^) I’ve only know a few ppl who celebrate it as Samhain. Everyone else just dresses up.

Lol I think I have one picture of me in the pumpkin! but it was before I even got to the party just wandering around the house & someone took a pic of me when I wasn’t even looking XD Maybe this year I’ll go out and take many pictures. Sometimes they have costume contests for the best design although they compare nothing to cosplayers. They are usually amazing with their costumes <3
