Mini Fun Fair

Category: Event

Last month, we went to Boulevard and saw there was a mini fun fair. Last time, during Kuching festival, there would be fun fair held just next to the food fair.  I felt kinda weird to see a mini fun fair in front of a shopping mall, this is something new here in Kuching. The place was crowded.

Notice the “fountain” at the end? That’s actually a water playground. Many parents brought their kids there to have fun in the water. I don’t know if the entrance is free.

This is sort of a gamble game. You pay RM1 for each can drinks and bet on the colors on the table. Then, the lady over there will release the color balls from the blue Pepsi platform. The first color ball determines the result. Say for example, the first ball that reach the end of the platform is orange, then those who bet (put their can drinks) on the color portion on that table, win. Then you will have a lot of can drinks later.

I never see such game until that night…haha. Kinda lame but interesting.. (what do I mean?)

Take a look at this guy, was he really that lucky to win so many can drinks? Or did he spend a lot on the can drinks to bet for more can drinks?

And guess what? I’ve spotted Kuma-Kuma!!!!!!! You need to play some little games like throwing the balls to the correct location to gain points and with certain points you are able to exchange the stuffed dolls.  Can you see Kuma-Kuma? There are 2 kinds of Kuma-Kuma here.

One hanging there just looks like my Kuma-Kuma doll that I hug to sleep every night. And the other 3 is another version of Kuma-Kuma. I call it the flat Kuma-Kuma. They are just so adorable, aren’t there? By the way, you need 9 points in order to exchange the Kuma-Kuma doll. Orange tried to win one for me, but with no luck.

But still, I was touched for he was trying to win me the Kuma-Kuma.

Cheese blogged about this as well.
