I bought a Canon PIXMA iP1880 printer at RM125.00 yesterday. Affordable, eh? This model was sold at RM214 early this April. I have always wanted to buy a new printer as my old Canon BJC-210SP bubble jet printer is “too old”. The ink cartridge is nearly obsolete!! So if I want to buy a new cartridge next time, it will be either too expensive or not in production anymore.

I don’t have to rush to get a printer right away, as I seldom print things since my graduation. I still need to get a new printer sooner or later anyway, as Cherry is going to college soon.

For about 3 weeks, I’ve been suffering in the office when I wanted to print document. The printer in my department is spoiled and cannot be fixed. But no one come out with a good solution. I’d been printing documents at other department and the printing process really kills time as well as my patience. I reflected my opinion to my superior but still no action taken. (Even tried to use a customer’s printer yet not working)

What kind of stingy company is this? I tried so hard to tolerate with the ice age computer and the slow connection. And now the printer?! I was so FRUSTRATED!!! Yet no one is willing to take proper action. My final decision – BOUGHT MY NEW PRINTER FROM MY OWN COMPANY AND PUT IT IN THE OFFICE TO USE!!!!!!!!

Hello Boss???!?!?! You ought to upgrade some of the equipments here and ensure your workers are working at ease to increase productivity and efficiency!!!!!!!! Baka~

Why iP1880? Have been familiar with this printer although it’s with Ubuntu. And it’s the cheapest printer I can get now.
