Happy Birthday, Viktor
Posted on Jan 25 in Life Logby ApplePrint

It’s Chinese New Year eve as well as Viktor’s birthday. I’ve been spending a lot lately. It’s always very hard to choose a present for him. Most of the time, I will just buy chocolate. Last Christmas, I already gave him chocolate bars.

He knew it was chocolate and asked if I don’t know what he really likes. Till then, I knew what to get for his birthday…He like pens! So I bought a pen which cost RM37.50. Hope he will like it.

Yesterday I went for last minute shopping. Will talk about this later as I have to start cleaning up my room for this coming Chinese New Year.
Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to all those that celebrate. May you enjoy your reunion dinner tonight.

@remblue,
Haha..Orange also laughed at the title.
It’s alright as you will learn a little here and there about the Chinese culture when you read.
Here’s an extra information. During Chinese New Year, fire crackers is launched. According to the mythology, there was once a monster called “Nian” who always disturbed the villagers. The crackers was used to scare away the monster. In today’s culture, fire crackers is a symbol of chasing away all the bad luck, bring in wealth and have a prosperous start of the year.
Thanks for the info Apple. It’s nice learning things especially things that I’m already interested in ^_^
