It’s the Chinese tradition to have a reunion meal (mostly at night) during Chinese new year eve. Just now I had a great meal with my family and it was the first time for us to dine out for a reunion dinner like this. We went to HongKong Noodle House which is located at Jalan Padungan.

Dad had paid for the course before hand which cost RM438. Another reason for eating out is also to celebrate his birthday.

Our first meal is known as “lao sheng“, resemble wealth and prosperity. It’s a must during Chinese new year.

Mix up all the ingredient and start eating~

Then, we had leng pan. Quite tasty.

And then shark fin soup. This should be the most expensive dish in the menu tonight.

Fish is also a must.

This should be butter prawn. The prawn is quite fresh but we were really too full to take more.

This is the only vegetable, with abalone some more.. -.-

We were so full by the time we ate finish the fish. We were unable to finish of the previous dishes, so we request them to pack it for us to take away later. We didn’t even eat another 2 dishes which was herbal chicken and some sort of rice. We just asked for take away (too full!).

Now we have lots of food for tomorrow.

Did you enjoy your reunion dinner?

Happy Chinese New Year!!
