Facial Foundation

For over 24 years, this is my first time purchasing a facial foundation powder. I rarely wear makeup and to be honest, I don’t know how to apply those layers of powder. Most of the time I am what I am (look). Occasionally, I will apply some eye shadow to sooth the mood. For instance, going out with Orange to celebrate some special days, attending wedding invitations, or simply feel like wanna put up some colors…

Few days ago, accompanied my colleague walked around the shopping mall as she wanted to buy the foundation. She asked if I have used any of those. I said no. She said I should try it too. Okay, I thought I may want to gain a little more confidence and I wanna look good this coming Valentine. So this afternoon, I went to Watson Personal Care Stores to purchase some facial stuff.

They are having anniversary sales over there. I don’t wish to spend too much on such things, so after looking around, I decided to purchase Silky White Lightening 2-Way Foundation by Silkygirl at the cost of RM26.80 (normal selling price: RM34.90)

I applied the foundation and went to meet up with Orange. He said there’s a very big difference and I look more fair.

I also bought some facial foam and a nose strip. Well, these 4 items cost me RM60.

I haven’t “strip” my nose for quite some time already. I just try out the nose strip just now and yea it did pull out those dirt and “blackheat”. But still, I think Biore’s is better.

The reason I didn’t know all the makeup stuff is because I lost my beloved mom at young age and no one is there to have more girl’s talk with me. And when I grew up, I was obese and not loved, not motivated to look good either. Orange changed my life ^_^

I picked up new things through the Internet, as well as learning how to make up. There’s plenty of makeup tutorial in Youtube. But I learn most of the basics from Makeup Geek. Here’s a nice tutorial for a sexy Valentine look.
