PC Fair – 3rd ~ 5th April

PIKOM PC Fair 2009
It’s the PC fair season. This year’s first PC fair is held by Pikom. PC Fair used to be an exiciting time where I would always visit to grab some IT products at some very great offers. After changing my job, I never step a foot to any PC Fair held in Kuching! The reason is simple – I have to work (or perhaps should I say – ‘stay’) in the office during PC fair. I’m glad that I don’t have to go to the fair location to help out. But staying in the office, especially during off day (today, which is a Sunday), really makes me feel like wasting time.

Everyday touching hardware makes me not in the mood of buying any IT products during the fair. Working in the warranty department is even worse, because everyday I see and hold malfunction IT products! HP, Gigabyte, Western Digital, etc..you name it!

PC fair eve need to work overtime till 9pm.
First day of PC fair, work from 9am to 9pm.
2nd and 3rd day, work from 10am to 9pm.
The next day usually is a Monday, continue working as usual.

That’s why PC fair is a nightmare for those in related field. :(
