Early Birthday Gifts

Last Thursday, 9th July 2009, I received a “surprise” from my colleagues. I had been suspecting Rachel of planning my birthday present. Because every time I walked near her while she was preparing the “things”, she would “shoo” me away.

I suddenly received a call from Account Department, “Please come here and collect your warranty items,” said Lau Cheng. It didn’t sound fishy to me, because every time they will give us a call to collect our things.

They hid the big box somewhere and asked me to take, and asked me to open straight away. Once I saw the box, I knew it’s a gift but not warranty items. Only presents will be kept in such adorable big box.

I was so so so sooooooo happy when I saw this!

They gave me a big Kuma-Kuma and 2 Kuma-Kuma car cushion. Now I almost have full set of Kuma-Kuma car accessories.

I was actually stunned. I felt so touched and I tried hard to hold back my tears. But at last, I failed to do so, I shed tears, joyful tears.

The big Kuma-Kuma is so cute. I named him Giant.

Look what I’ve got so far…the Kuma-Kuma family.

Along with the present, I also received a birthday greeting card.

34 names in a card. Thank you every one. I’m glad for those who “participated”, although some of you rarely speak a word to me. :)

And on the next day, 10th July 2009, Orange bought me a pink Sony Ericsson K770i handphone. And it’s time to say goodbye to my Nokia N70. I have actually “kissed goodbye” to it for serving me all these while.

One of the main reasons for me to get this phone is because of its embedded Cybershot 3.2 megapixel camera.

It’s my first time using a Sony Ericsson phone. Still need some time to really get use to it.

And on the 13th, which was also my “anniversary date“, Cherry gave me present too! She kept bugged me to go home earlier so that she could “show me something”.

Cherry: Look at this. *hand over a box which contain a pair of sandals*
Cherry: What do you think about it?
Me: Hey, it’s quite nice. *putting on to try out* (We sometimes share shoes.)
Cherry: Okay, it’s for you.
Me: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee…thank you

Nice pair of sandals from Cherry and Cheese. This is something I really need, just like those beautiful women shoes.

Old folks said that it’s not suitable to give shoes as present. I remembered long time ago, my God brother brought back a pair of slippers for me, and his mom asked me to give him 20 cents as a sign of good luck. So, this time, I gave Cherry 20 cents. LOL

Thank you everyone…I’m happy and touched.
I wonder what will Viktor give me this year?

    Aw how cute are those cuddly toys, and I really like those white shoes too. Sending cards like that one are great and a cool way to surprise a friend when they least expect it. I tend to send cute greeting cards online now rather than buying expensive ones from the shops. I also feel better knowing that I am helping Mother Nature out as I am not using resources.
