Red and Prosperous

Last September, after dying my hair red, it looked good for a while and the color slowly faded away. The color almost totally gone after I had my new hair cut. I’ve been thinking of going to the salon to get my hair colored, but always find excuses like having a budget or do not have time for that.

Last Sunday, I decided to get it done before it’s too late (price might increase due to upcoming Chinese New Year event). I went back to the same salon which I had my new hair cut – Enter Cut. I think the people there will think that I’m crazy, for always snapping photos while having my hair done.

I was sitting there for quite some time. This is after the hair stylist applied the cream for the first time and put the steamer on top of my head.
My friend also had his hair cut and dyed. He was sitting just beside me. So he took a photo of me. Oh dear, I looked so weird and ugly with my naked forehead. Can almost see the wrinkles-looking lines on the forehead! A sign of aging?! Sigh..I hope I don’t need any wrinkle treatments YET!

This is the finally look, right after I came out from the salon.

The color is quite obvious when there’s “enough” sunlight.

It cost me RM80 for the coloring, RM20 for the chemical treatment. A total of RM100 for this red hair.

Here’s a comparison for the before (left) and after (right) look. (Opps..I’ve forgotten to embed the captions in the photo)
Now my hair has more “volume”, I need something for styling my hair. So I went to Guardian to get a hair spray which cost me RM18.90.

It’s a Lucido-l Designing air hair spray.
I’m now happy with my new hair color and ready for a prosperous Chinese New Year ahead!
P/S: Red is the Chinese color.

The hair color looks great on you, Apple! I have to go and redye my hair, too. My hair’s back to a dark color and my roots are showing
Would you know how much the salon treatment cost you in USD? :/ I feel dumb for not knowing what your currency is. Augh.
If you can, why not have a relative dye it for you? Just buy the color you want and have them follow the instructions. It’s a lot cheaper!

Thank you very much!
The exchange rate is approximately USD1 = RM3.30. So, it cost me around USD30 to dye my hair at the salon.
I’d tried to have my hair dyed at home, cheaper of course, but the color won’t stay long or not so obvious (especially red), as I have black hair.
I really like the red hair color It’s simple yet sweet ^_^
Thanks, but its fading..haha
