Dragon Boat Festival

It’s a bit late, but for record sake, I’ll still post about this event. Last Wendesday was the Dragon Boat Festival according to the Lunar calendar. During this festival, most typical Chinese families will eat meat dumplings.

It’s sad that I did not learn how to make meat dumplings fro my late mom. She knew how to make yummy dumplings. Now, no one in the family know how to make the dumpling. It really consumes a lot of time to make such dumplings. No worries, as you can always buy such dumplings in the market.

That very morning, my colleague gave me a meat dumpling and that was my first dumpling during the festival. My friend also gave me some homemade dumplings by his mom. I just enjoyed those dumplings.

Maybe some day when I am in the mood, I’ll learn how to make my own.
