I am not so “in the mood” until I nearly forget about my monthly “magazine art” for this July. It’s July, a month with great events such as the Rainforest World Music Festival and my birthday!!

I wish I can go to this year’s RWMF. There are around 16 groups of performers and I am interested in a Japanese Taiko performer Hiroshi Motofuji. He will be performing on stage on the 2nd and 3rd night. I will have to plan as I may not be available on the 2nd night, but the 3rd night is a Sunday and I will have to work on Monday.

I have submitted my resign letter last week and will be leaving my current job end of this month. By then, I guess i can’t blog / read blogs as frequently as I do now.

Today I’m in design mood. I’m not a graphic designer but I love to play around with Photoshop. I was working with modifying a WordPress theme for Cherry. It’s a 2 column theme and she wants a 3 column layout. Therefore my design is put aside. She said it is very cute and requested me to customize some wallpaper for her.

Starting from 1st of June, it’s the celebration of the harvest festival, or known as the Gawai Festival (gawai actually means “festive”). This is a festival celebrated by the Dayaks of Sabah and Sarawak. Normally, they will go back to their hometown, or kampung in their language to celebrate with the family in the Rumah Panjai (longhouse).

Orange is an Iban (the largest population native in Sarawak), he went back to his kampung 4 days ago. I was and still so lonely. T_T

Anyway, wishing those who celebrate the festive “Selamat Ari Gawai” and “Gayu guru gerai nyamai” (having a prosperous life)

This is the second time for me to “celebrate” this day.  I never thought this day can be important to me until I started working in the society. During school days, labor day is just an ordinary, extra holiday. Today, it’s a day for me to take a break from the daily routines in the office. I’m glad.

Not gonna blog more for today, I’m going out with my love.

Perhaps this explains why I didn’t update this blog for some time. Sorry, it’s really hard to squeeze some juice out of my brain.
