Nowadays, there are more and more branded franchise around in Kuching. This is something new to Kuching folks and also mean encouraging of spending more (which is not a good idea). More and more cafe is offering wifi service here. But we chose to have our first DonutBite forum gathering at Starbucks Coffee of Kuching International Airport.
We chose to hold the gathering in the airport as less people around and it’s quieter. Our gathering started at 8pm. Oh, by the way, this gathering was held on 5th July, also as a celebration of DonutBite’s 1st birthday which falls on 9th July.

12th July 2008 was KuchingBloggers.com first blogger meet, namely “Kuching Bloggers’ Meet 2008“. As one of the members of KuchingBloggers.com, I attended the gathering with Orange, Cherry and Cheese who are also members. The gathering was held in Sharing Planet 分享. It is said that Sharing Planet serves good food and always has many customers. However, this is the first time I dine in Sharing Planet.

It’s more like a garden to me. It was dark so I couldn’t really see how nice the surroundings is. Read more…
Still remember 2 days ago I did mention about 3D cakes? Now, I’m going to show you more cute and creative 3D cakes, or known as 3-Dimensional cakes. These cakes are brought to you by TAKA Cake House, one of the popular bakeries in Kuching.
TAKA Cake House was having a roadshow at Crown Square on 13-15 June 2008. Sorry I was busy and wasn’t able to update as fast as Anna or Alysha. (They are much more efficent than me!) During the roadshow, many cakes made me drools.

Yesterday was the DuanWu festival or known as the Dragon Boat Festival. Normally on this day, the Chinese will eat meat dumplings known as Zong Zi (Mandarin) or Bak Zang (Hokkien dialect). I only ate few spoon of dumpling yesterday. This morning, my colleague gave me one, so I’m gonna eat it later during lunch time.
