Selamat Hari Kebangsaan kepada semua anak Malaysia
[Translation: Happy National Day to all Malaysia Citizens]
31st August is our Malaysia national day. I guess I won’t do much for this day, and I’m not gonna “celebrate” like those people out there, such as counting down in the crowd or watch any parade shows. I’m not so “patriotic”. I think to show one loves his/her country, he/she doesn’t have to “action” so much during the National Day. Be a good citizen, don’t create disaster to the community, that’s more than enough. Because by that, the country’s image will be good, thus, making an impressive country.
And what a co-incidence? On 31st August, it’s also the BlogDay. It’s the 3rd BlogDay so far. By the way, what’s BlogDay and how can you celebrate together in the blog sphere? Here’s the answer (quoted from www.blogday.org):

BlogDay was created with the belief that bloggers should have one day dedicated to getting to know other bloggers from other countries and areas of interest. On that day Bloggers will recommend other blogs to their blog visitors. With the goal in mind, on this day every blogger will post a recommendation of 5 new blogs. This way, all blog readers will find themselves leaping around and discovering new, previously unknown blogs.
What will happen on BlogDay?
One long moment on August 31st, bloggers from all over the world will post recommendations of 5 new Blogs, preferably Blogs that are different from their own culture, point of view and attitude. On this day, blog readers will find themselves leaping around and discovering new, unknown Blogs, celebrating the discovery of new people and new bloggers.
BlogDay posting instructions:

Okay, so on the 31st of August, I will be introducing 5 new blogs here.
Hope everyone of you who own a blog, can join this wonderful event too!
I never tag anyone before, so I guess this is a good opportunity.
Hmm..let’s see who to tag…okay, I’m gonna tag 5 person, they are:
1. Camy
2. Jess Sophia
3. Jimmychin
4. LeeChien
5. SpookyGrace
So, hey guys…remember to recommend 5 new blogs on 31st August.
Tomorrow, 19th August, will be LiewCF’s 27th birthday. He is testing about ChipIn - an online payment service, as to do so, he set up a birthday fund. Argh, I really would like to participate too. But I don’t have a PayPal account. =(
Anywhere, if you would like to send a “birthday gift” by adding some fund, you can click the link below.
Last night, we went to the food fair once again. I think this will probably be the last visit to the food fair for this year. You know what? This is the first time I been to the food fair more than 2 times during Kuching Festival. Last night was not so pleasant, something personal was going on and I brought home sadness with me and into my dreams. Okay, lets talk about the food. (Maybe some of you gonna be hungry again..haha :P)
Bringing some friends last night, I brought them to the candy stall straight away when we arrived. And of course took some photos too. The candies just look so tasty in the photo.

We’ve eaten Fried Ice-cream before, so this time we tried Fried Tofu. Delicious with mayonnaise..but RM3 for 5 pieces.

Then, this Keropok Lekor (fried fish cake) is so hot. They just fried it and we bought it. During our last visit, we did have some, but I didn’t take photo..and now here is the photo of Keropok Lekor. Rm1.00 for 7 pieces.

We’d seen these people cooking this special meat stick for several times, and now we bought 2 to taste it. The meat were BBQ but half cooked. I like the sauce.

Always wanted to try Pinoy food…didn’t know what to order but get attracted by the picture in the poster banner. Cheese stick… 1 packet for RM3.00. Looks so big in the poster, but in fact they are small in size and only got 3 of them. 1 piece = RM1.00. For cheese lover, it definitely taste great.

Cheese Stick - They look big in photo, but only about the size of your index finger.
We also bought some Fried Bun this time. Taste very delicious with pork as the filling and crispy outside. But, it’s rather too oily. One more thing I would like to mention is, we also bought some herb & spices mutton soup. I don’t know how it taste yet. It’s still in my fridge, I’ll have it during lunch later.
Before ending this post, I also want to share about something very astonishing. Almost every night during the festival, concerts will be presented on stage. While we passed by the stage, I heard a very familiar voice and heard someone mentioned a name. And this name is the person who I know. Without hesitation, I went forward to the stage and took some photos.

See the guy playing that keyboard? He is Orange’s boss! We called him Ah Gun. Cool, I only know he is a dancer and know that he is good in singing, but I DIDN’T KNOW he can play musical instrument as well. Erm, Orange is not a dancer. His boss own more than one company in different industry.
If you like to experience this food fair yourselves, you can come to Kuching in the beginning of August. ^^
I never thought I will write [Part 4], but now I’m writing. The previous Wednesday night, after fetching Cherry back from tuition, we went to the Kuching Festival Fair again. She hadn’t been there until that night. Well, we actually went there for a purpose. We wanna watch our friend dancing on stage. First time met her in person, as we know her through the Forum. Oh, of course, I didn’t forget to bring along the camera (better quality this time, because that is Dad’s SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-T10).
Reviewed Kuching Festival Fair so 3 times, yet haven’t take a picture of the entrance. Now here it is, a night view of the entrance.

The concert started at 9pm. Because of time constraint, we had to leave as early as 10.30pm. We still need to buy food and walk around, so we didn’t watch too long at the concert. And as promised, I went to watch the performance, and also saw the MC guy (Xiao Nan Hai 小男孩) too! Evidence~

And this is the cute girl who looks actually younger than her age, and even better looking in person - Alysha. She’s hot and active!

And this is the whole group of dancers, performing the opening dance. After watching the opening dance, we just walked around to buy some food and look the exhibition.

This is a recording done by Alysha’s friend I think. Nice dance.
After that, we met up with Alysha and then continue our eating journey. This time didn’t take much food pictures. Bought some Tokiwado and Squid Ball.

Okay, so that’s the end of [Part 4]. Tonight I will be going again. This time bringing some friends. Hope can take more photos and share it here. Sunday the 19th will the last day of this festival fair..so, perhaps the up coming [Part 5] will be the final chapter. Stay tune.
