What the…sushi again? Are you a sushi freak or something? If that’s what you’re asking…I will have to say…I have no choice but to make sushi last night and bring it to work as lunch. My fridge has nothing much left. Only ingredients for making sushi. This time, I wrapped the sushi with sardin fish (can food) and eggs.

I haven’t get my salary, and I’m drying to hell..no $$ to buy vegetables to cook my lunch. Yup, I cook my meal early in the morning every working day, and bring it to work. Once, my colleague asked me, “Didn’t your mom buy vegetables for you?” Or perhaps she wanna ask “Don’t your mom cook for you?”…Well, I’m not so lucky like her, every time got her mom prepare lunch and she goes back home to have your wonderful lunch, serving hot. I always have my cold lunch.

Everytime making my own sushi, it’s like very thick. When we buy sushi from outside, they have those little cute ones. I was thinking, how come I never make those tiny makizushi. (Note: There’s many genre of sushis, makizushi is the sushi seaweed roll using the bamboo mat.) Instead, I always make bigger ones..so I tried to make some..and here is the result.

This time, not so fancy, just used cucumber and egg as the filling. Simple and tasty. I only ate some and the rest I gave it to Orange.

Last night thought of wanna have sushi, so spent some time making some sushis and today, I bring to office as my lunch. Yummy~~ 30 minutes more before lunch time. *Drools*

The more time I practice making sushi, the better I can make. ^^

It’s hard, or should I say rare for me to have strawberries as frequent as having bananas. In a tropical country like this, we only get to eat a lot of tropical fruits like bananas, durians, etc… Strawberries are expensive as they are imported fruits. Orange bought me a box of strawberries which is RM19.90 last night when we did some shopping. The strawberries really smells and looks very red and sweet, and of course very juicy. However, it’s not as sweet as the strawberries I ate when I visited China many years ago. And that was the first time I ever taste a real strawberry.
