Get Ready For More Games

This coming June is Gawai Festive - a season which the natives here in Sarawak celebrate. It will be both school holidays and public holidays. Yea! I don’t have to work for 3 days. My family will be going to Taiwan and I will stay back here in Kuching. Didn’t I just say Taiwan? I wish I could go, but I was not “invited” so I’ll be staying at home.

Hotel @ Sleepywood, MapleSEA.

As I mentioned before, one of the important factor that you need to consider during traveling is accommodation. Getting great hotel deals is really a bonus. Since my family is following the travel agency, they don’t have to worry too much about accommodation arrangement.

Orange will be going back to his hometown, so I’ll be all alone. So, to spend my time at home, I’ve been thinking of playing games. I would probably go back to my dusty PS2 console and play games like Tenchu or Blood Will Tell. Or maybe I’ll try to level up my cleric in Maple Story.

Wanna take a hot sauna bath ^_^

It took me one year time, to up my level 42 cleric to level 43 (current level). That is really very very slow. After I take up blogging, I have really cut down lots of time in gaming. How I miss my gaming life.

The Sims 3

Category: Games

EA Games is really planning for a BIG addiction!! I just can’t believe that The Sims 3 is going to be released in 2009.  I have to admit that I enjoy playing The Sims and it is rather addictive.  And when The Sims 2 was released, I was so excited and finally got my hands on it.  However due to computer spec issue, I didn’t have much experience with The Sims 2.

The Sims 2 has very nice graphic comparing with the previous version. But I’ve seen some screeny of The Sims 3 and guess what? That is really f*cking awesome!!! It looks 3 x more smooth and realistic!!

Cooking in the kitchen - the texture is now more smooth

grill.jpgOh, talk about cooking, there’s one thing that I’d like to mention. The Sims need social life, so once in a while throwing a party or two like family grill will boost their mood bar. Hygene is also another issue. If you place your grill set inside the house, you might upset your Sims. The best place is to put it outside the house, say, beside the pool.

I don’t have a grill set at home.  I didn’t know about there’s something called the grill cover until I saw some information about it from the Internet.  That’s because I never see my Sims cover the grill set with something.

LOL. Ok, back to The Sims 3, I just can’t wait to see the product! I think it’s time for me to save up a little and buy a better box for gaming. I have problems playing The Sims 2 in my current desktop PC. It will be worse if I were to play The Sims 3 using that old box of mine.

Memories Back in Ragnarok

Category: Games

Yesterday read about a post saying that Ragnarok Online (iRO, US server) is the worst server (Chaos server) ever. Memories of my gaming life flow back in my mind. Yes, Ragnarok Online (Malaysia server English version) is the first online game that kept me addicted for 2 years.

That time, Ragnarok Online, RO in short, was a very popular online game. Even it was not free that time (you need to purchase monthly card in order to access the game), there were always a lot of players hanging around in the game, especially during guild wars - peak hour!

Apple & friends

I was really enjoying myself back then. Leveling and training together with my real life friends was so much fun. But good times don’t last long… as bots were everywhere and yes, we did bot too! The official servers were really very laggy almost every time. The drop rates and experience rates were too low either…. Read more…
