During Chinese new year, this dish is always served as an opening and it is an essential dish to have – Yee Sang.

Everyone used chopstick to mix the yee sang and wish everyone a prosperous new year.

Next, we have this steamed rice in lotus leaf.

The shark fin soup is a luxurious dish, and also a common dish during a gathering dinner like this.

Herbal Chicken, also known as “Beggar Chicken”.

Fish is also another symbolic dish during Chinese new year. We had steamed fish.

Butter prawn.

At last, we have some dessert.

It’s almost Dad’s birthday, so we celebrated it earlier.

We were all so full and it was a blissful dinner with family.

During new year eve (22nd Jan), my friends came to my house to have a steamboat reunion dinner. This is kinda cool, because before this, I never celebrate reunion dinner with friends!

I was busy preparing the food.

It was kinda fun after all, although the BBQ hot plate is not as sizzling as those in the shop.

Looking back, I don’t think there’s much to say for year 2011. Perhaps I blog less and that’s why it seems to have nothing to refer back. (how sad, and look at the comments left for my blog is almost 0 all the time)

However, there are some memorable events:

On Feb, I went to KL for vacation. It’s such a tough decision for me to on leave for vacation. I was suppose to post up photos on this vacation, yet…well all those photos are lying quietly in my PC.

11th of March, I bought myself a 16GB iPhone 4. So far, I’m still enjoy using it. iOS rocks!

1st of April was a changing point for my life. It seemed like an April fool joke, yet it was not. I was promoted in my career. However, misunderstanding issues were every where and I nearly lost my friendship. Anyway, I have lost a friend this year. D:

Some time around April, I have got my Google Adsense pament. Thanks Google!

Some time around July, I bought myself a second iDevice, which is a 32GB iPad 2 black. Suppose to blog about it as well. Perhaps you will see a lot of blog posts next year which were events happened in 2011!! LOL.

Also happening in July, I was assigned a task to blog about a basketball competition held by Celcom, and I was sponsored by Nuffnang. Thanks Nuffnang for giving me this opportunity!

8th August, I got a kitten. And now he has grown into a very cute and beautiful cat. I even setup a Tumblr blog specially dedicated to my cat, Chi.

During mid August, I went to Singapore for vacation. It was actually an annual company trip. Staff who work 3 years and above are entitled to join the trip. It was my first company trip! The trip was awesome. Photos were taken, of course. And…those photos are lying quietly in my PC as well. Those photos are not even in my Facebook! LOL.

From 29th October to 1st November, I went to Miri. It was a business trip. Went there to meet the branch staff and provide some training. It was a great trip, although tired staying in the office for long hours. Every air I breathed in was freedom. XD

It took me 2 days (24th December – 25th December) to help Orange moved out from his previous accommodation.  Reason to move out was due to the increase of house rental. The other housemates did not agree with the increment, hence we all had to move out. I was so stress looking for new ‘hideout’. Thanks to my friend, I was able to settle Orange down, and checked him into his new place – Courtyard Sanctuary apartment at MJC.

Best thing to end the year, my another Google Adsense payment has been issued. This is the 2nd payment from Google this year. How sad to see the online revenue is rapidly decreasing

Next, let’s take a look at my  2011 new year resolution:

1. Reduce fat!!!!! I wanna be slim and beautiful.
2. Money, money, come come.
3. Read another 5 books!! Reading is great!
4. Get an iPad.
5. Design and decorate my bedroom interior.
6. Blog more often.

Let’s see what I have achieved so far:

1. This is an epic fail. I did not loose weight, and i have gained some. I just measured my waistline. It has become 35″?! WTH!!??!

2. Yes, just a little. And I have to work harder.

3. I didn’t finish any book!! OMFG! Thanks to the iDevices I have bought.

4. Yes!!! I have achieved this. [MISSION ACCOMPLISHED]

5. I did a rearrangement to my bedroom and add some deco like light bulbs for Christmas. Be it Christmas or not, the light bulbs is always beautiful to gaze at.

6. Another fail mission. Look at my archives and you will understand what I mean. Perhaps micro-blogging like sharing posts at Twitter or Tumblr is much more easier and convenient these days.

Alright, that’s for 2011.

The pretty girl beside me shared the same name (Apple) and same birthday with me

During January this year, I went to the salon to change the color of my hair again. This time I thought of having some even more bright and outstanding color.

After few washing of the hair, the color get even brighter. I was not so use to it by that time. But still love the bright color.

Of course the black hair is growing all the time. I went to the salon to cover up the black part . And for nearly 8 months, I maintain my hair with this color. Last August, I was on my budget yet my black hair grew quite a lot already. Desperately wanna cover the black hair, so I went to buy the brightest hair dye solution I can get from normal super market and DIY.

Today, I went to a salon which I ever tried before. It was introduced by Mika. He always goes to that salon to get his hair done. The results are always great, that is why I decided to give it a try. The salon name is Crown Hair Studio, located in the city.

I picked grey. Before coloring, here comes the bleaching.

Sitting there fore nearly 5 hours and finally…

Greyish, bluish, silverish.. I’m so in love with this new look.  However, this is believed to be not the final look yet. After several times of washing, the color will gradually ‘fade off’ and the remaining color is what the hairstylist intended to let me have for my hair.

Too good not to post for some photos, don’t you think so?

Hmm, yea of course I need some makeup to make the entire photo nicer.

Bro had a minor operation on his right toe. The toe nail was “distorted” and somehow got infected. Ended up the toe became swollen. Doctor said removing of the nail is a must.

I never had such experience of having such things attached to my nerve.

It looks kinda creepy for me.

Sometimes, I do hope I have a table like this, so that I can put my notebook on top and watch movie in my bed.

While waiting for Dad to return, I’m sitting here in a corner and start my 3rd mobile blogging post.

Starting from this month (March) onwards, there will be some changes with my daily schedule. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, I do not have to work (compulsory off day). So that makes a total of 6 days off in a month. And there will be no over time to claim anymore. However, this only apply for those office hour staff.

This is me, in the office. I just feel I look kinda good in this mask, with some mysterious element.

Hope I can make full use of my Saturdays to do something just for myself. I wanna spend more time on my blog, my online income, etc..

It’s been 3 years that I have not gone for vacation. I don’t know why, I feel more uneasy when think of going out for vacation. Maybe it’s because I need to spend during vacation? Or perhaps I’ve been holding myself back here for too long…

This is his hand. There’s a tiny mole. I was getting naughty and drew another “mole” and curve line to make a smiley face. I told him if he miss me, he can look at this smiley face.

He put a transparent tape on top of it, saying that he wants to “preserve” it. LOL. How cute :3

This year, I took not much photos on the food. I feel kinda guilty for not updating my blog for such a long time. For those of you who always come back to check for updates, sorry for not posting new stuff recently. Nail art is one of the new year favorites among girls. Cherry wanted to help me decorate my nails. I let her did so, but not fancy as it will not last long after I get back to work.

We had our family reunion dinner at home during new year eve. Today is actually the 15th day of Chinese new year, also the last day of Chinese new year, widely known as Chap Goh Meh.

During Chinese new year, most people will have Yee Sang during the reunion dinner. Dad passed a box of ingredients to me just now and asked me to eat it with my friends. Normally such things is eaten with the family members or at least more than 2 person.

Put all the ingredients together. This is for 10 person.  Ended up Cherry and I eating this, but we took half of the ingredient only.

When everything is mixed together, it looks like this.

Before the clock strike 12, I would like to wish everyone a very prosperous Chinese new year (although it’s a bit too late). But anyway, may health and wealth be at your side

Looking back at my blog archive, I feel kinda heart pain as I have always abandoned my blog for most of the time. Blog updates become more and more less. My friend reminded me to write something in my blog since it’s end of the year.

Let’s take a look at my 2010 new year resolutoin:

1. Get a flat abdomen.My weight has decreased and kinda stable right now.
2. Boost up my online revenue. Maybe make a total of at least $30 per month?
3. Encourage myself to read. Hope to complete at least 5 books this year. (I don’t read books)
4. Get a baking oven. I wanna learn and have fun with baking.
5. Get a pair of new spectacles.
6. Plan and spend wisely.
7. Try to manage most of my blogs frequently.
8. Make “Avatar: A Confidential Report on the Biological and Social History of Pandora” as part of my book collection.
9. Complete an offline PC game or console game.
10. Learn something new.

Okay, let’s see what had I achieved:
1. Not really. I feel that I’m getting fatter each day.
2. Totally no online income for this year, except for Adsense.
3. I did completed 5 books!! [MISSION ACCOMPLISHED]
4. I don’t even remember I have this as a resolution!!!!
5. Yup, I got it. I even have 2.
6. Not really. Somehow, not so wise.
7. This is so hard, hope can do it next year.
8. I couldn’t find this book in local book store. Only in Amazon, but ….
9. Yup!! I completed Dante’s Inferno in XBOX 360. [MISSION ACCOMPLISHED]
10. I guess I have learned something new, but in the mean time I can’t think what are they.

Sort of failing my resolution. Perhaps I should not set too much resolution the next year.

Anyway, it’s end of 2010.
