I’ve been following my diet plan for 2 months plus. Just measured my body weight this morning and apparently I’ve lost 5kgs! That’s really a very encouraging figure. However, recently I hesitate if this is really good enough as I still have lots of “extra meat” around my tummy, arms and legs (although I lost weight). I decided to get some workout.

The easiest way is to jog. But jogging in the sun can really tan my skin. We have no 4 seasons here so it will be rather hard to have fair skin texture again, unless I go for skin whitening treatment .

I’ve always wanted an exercise ball, so yesterday I finally get one for myself!

Recently, there are some new visitors to this blog. I suppose, for those new comers, you won’t get to know what sort of anniversary is this. It’s just a memorable date for both me and my boyfriend. It’s the date when I promised to be his girlfriend. Maybe you will find this funny or silly for actually calculating how long have we been together. But I simply feel it is sweet to remember.

This is me and Orange. We haven’t post any recent photos of ourselves lately. Here is one. (Do I look slimmer a bit?)

For those who follow my blog for some time, you may feel curious of why I chose xiaoyenzi.com as my domain name. For first time visitors, you may feel very weird that A.P.P.L.E (or simply “apple”) and xiaoyenzi.com don’t share anything in common. Today, I would love to take this opportunity to have a brief explaination on this.

It is impossible for me to own a domain like apple.com (That’s Mac, I’m Human. :P) I was thinking hard when I wanted to purhase a domain name. (a dot com domain name is always the coolest!) I am using “xiaoyenzi” as my online identity for around 9 years, so it seems very natural for me to choose xiaoyenzi.com as my domain name (since it’s a blog with more personal touch).

In fact, there’s no such PinYin spelling as “yen“. Initially, I wanted to register an ID named xiaoyanzi but I accidentally made a typo 9 years ago!! Then, I stick to it until today. LOL. So my online identity actually means little swallow (a kind of bird). It’s actually the name of my favorite character in the Taiwan drama Huan Zhu Ge Ge (还珠格格 Princess HuanZhu)

I bought a new pillow two days ago. I have always wanted to buy a pillow to support my back when I sit down for a long time. Recently, I have problems with my back. If I don’t sit in a good posture, my back will ache. (Maybe that’s what happen when you sit in front of the computer for too long)

I think the pillow is cute and good for resting my head. I wanna sleep in the office. Haha….just kidding, in fact this is why I need a pillow..

To support my back when I sit on the chair. The company is giving any better chairs for the staff here. There’s another chair with wheels that lost one of its wheels and the management didn’t even plan to get a new one. =.=

Several weeks ago, 2 salesperson come to my office to introduce me the NOD32 anti virus software for the company. I didn’t bring this issue up to the management because I know they won’t even mind or approve. They give staff little salary and expect them to do alot of work.

Even the photostat is not new, a 2nd hand. It has lots of problem recently, but it seems that we won’t get a new one. I really think the management should learn more about treating the staff better and also carry out a good budget plan. Not by saving the not-to-save cost. If they can’t plan well, they really need a budgeting software!!

My new pillow makes me sleepy.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot on money issue. Money is the evil of all, that’s what I believe. But the cruel fact is, without money we cannot do a lot, I mean A LOT, of things. If you follow closely with my blog, you can see that I am longing for my own house. This will definitely be a BIG burden for me, with my low paid salary. I’m not dreaming of having a house as beautiful as the Branson cabins, but just a small and comfy house will do, and of course I must be capable of paying the loans. (It’ll remain a dream forever if I stuck with current job.)

I just calculated my salary and expenses for the next few years, it is really hard to do anything with that little sum of money. Hence “Money No Enough” (take note, it’s “no” not “not“). Yup, just like the Singapore movie..

This is a critical move. I’m going to try to request for salary increment. Wish me luck. Oh, by the way, “Money No Enough 2″ is under development. Anticipating yet another Director Jack Neo film.
