Sometime ago, I mentioned that Cherry and I wanted to give Dad a surprise. On 25th January evening, after work, I drove all the way to the bakery shop to collect the cake the we ordered before hand. We didn’t inform Dad that we were going to buy him a birthday cake.
Now, take a deep breathe and think carefully. What’s your future? Get a better job, live a better life? All these are not possible if you don’t have money. Are you going to say money can’t buy happiness? Wake up, man! Money can’t buy happiness for sure. But without money, you will never see a smile on your face!
M-O-N-E-Y!!
Surprisingly, this morning when I reached the office, I was given some money, known as target sales incentive. Basically, our branch sales had reached the target and the boss is happy and give us some allowance. Not much though, but enough for me to refill my fuel tank next week.
And after lunch, Dad gave me a call. Asking me if I have the interest to work in Miri (another district in Sarawak) Curtin University. This is the second time he asked me. I refused and trying to refuse once again. I was being told that I will have a great fortune if I work there. Now, a chance for obtaining more money $$.
I can’t leave my hometown. So, I don’t think of going for this opportunity. I’m so addicted to many things around me which include:
1. Orange
2. The Internet (which includes blogging)
So addicted that I could have die if I lost any of those. Any addiction treatment like those for drugs?
I’m not leaving, but I’m still searching for better job.
Ever since I start working, I haven’t give anything to my dad. With such little income that I receive every month just enough to cover all my expenses, I don’t give him any “allowance”. Are you going to say that I’m useless? Well, if I have to pay for everything that my dad had spent on me, I know it’s impossible. It’s a whole life debt.
Friday will be his birthday. I would like to buy a present for him. Something useful like a Rolex Submariner watch? Hehe, how can I afford? So, last night Cherry and I went to order a birthday cake. That’s our first time ordering cake, and the first time we plan to give dad a cake surprise.
Will take some photos of the cake during Friday and blog about the event. Stay tune.
People ask me why not go for gym to keep fit. I dislike gym for several reasons:
Because someone in my house goes to gym and neglect the family.
Going to gym is expensive, consider the membership.
I’m simply lazy.
If I really want to workout with the gym machine, I would just get myself a home gym equipment, so that I can exercise any time I want, right at home! No extra membership fee needed. Wise?
Let me show you, the results of my diet plan.
