Hair Treatment Done

Two weeks ago, I went to have my first hair treatment after I had my hair straighten. It’s been nearly half a year!! If I don’t “treat” my hair, sooner or later the quality will fade off. Since Cherry wanted to dye her hair so much, we went to the saloon that Sunday afternoon.

Then, I got my hair “on smoke”!! Haha…

Ouch..looks ugly with that steamer.. =.=The hair stylist took quite some time to finish the treatment, especially at the “blowing” part. I was so impatient, but still I had to sit there waiting for the her to finish up the job.

This cost me RM40 and in fact I felt a bit heart pain to just spend 40 bucks like that. Because I don’t even spend $$ on any sale, but just for this hair treatment thingy, 40 bucks flew off..WTF?! I’m not so used to it. Recently I love money so much, I don’t feel like spending too much on those not-so-necessary-things.

Anyway, I persuaded myself that this treatment is actually worth it. Because my colleague couldn’t help herself but play around with my long straight hair. This is what she done yesterday evening….

GEO Nudy Brown

After having experience with big dolly eyes, I decided to try something new. Color lens is beautiful but I never tried color lens with “enlarge pupil” effect. So, I bought a pair of GEO Nudy soft lens from Alysha House.

Beautiful and affordable. It only cost RM40 for each pair. Initially, I wanted to get a pair of golden blue lens, but that color does not support any degree. So, I have to go for my second choice – brown with power of -2.50. Unlike those traditional lens, GEO lens are kept in cute bottles like these…

New Bag from Alysha House

For someone like me who dislike to go out for shopping, Alysha House is the best place for me to get all the latest fashion at ease. All I need to do is choose the thing I want, place an order, make payment and wait for my order to arrive. It may take a little long for the goods to arrive, but hey, the price is simply affordable. Moreover, the product quality is quite satisfying too!

Today, I just received my order. It’s a bag! My first ever big girlish bag! I bought this:

Nice, I like it very much. The bag is big enough for me to put a lot of things and still very spacious. This bag cost me RM35.

I bought another small casing at level 4 of my working place. Just to put all my keys and some girl’s stuff.

This little bag cost me RM19.90!! But quite stylish and now Orange won’t complain about where I place my keys, which I usually panic digging my bag just to look for them.

Facial Foundation

For over 24 years, this is my first time purchasing a facial foundation powder. I rarely wear makeup and to be honest, I don’t know how to apply those layers of powder. Most of the time I am what I am (look). Occasionally, I will apply some eye shadow to sooth the mood. For instance, going out with Orange to celebrate some special days, attending wedding invitations, or simply feel like wanna put up some colors…

Few days ago, accompanied my colleague walked around the shopping mall as she wanted to buy the foundation. She asked if I have used any of those. I said no. She said I should try it too. Okay, I thought I may want to gain a little more confidence and I wanna look good this coming Valentine. So this afternoon, I went to Watson Personal Care Stores to purchase some facial stuff.

They are having anniversary sales over there. I don’t wish to spend too much on such things, so after looking around, I decided to purchase Silky White Lightening 2-Way Foundation by Silkygirl at the cost of RM26.80 (normal selling price: RM34.90)

I applied the foundation and went to meet up with Orange. He said there’s a very big difference and I look more fair.

I also bought some facial foam and a nose strip. Well, these 4 items cost me RM60.

I haven’t “strip” my nose for quite some time already. I just try out the nose strip just now and yea it did pull out those dirt and “blackheat”. But still, I think Biore’s is better.

The reason I didn’t know all the makeup stuff is because I lost my beloved mom at young age and no one is there to have more girl’s talk with me. And when I grew up, I was obese and not loved, not motivated to look good either. Orange changed my life ^_^

I picked up new things through the Internet, as well as learning how to make up. There’s plenty of makeup tutorial in Youtube. But I learn most of the basics from Makeup Geek. Here’s a nice tutorial for a sexy Valentine look.

New Outfit

Went shopping with Cherry yesterday. It’s always a tradition for us to get new clothes for Chinese New Year. Frankly speaking, I don’t even have the mood to choose new clothes, because I usually buy clothes whenever I feel I really need one. For instance, the cloth is too loose or too tight.

Dad insisted us to get some new outfit for Chinese new year, so we went to Wisma Saberkas and walked around almost all the boutiques and finally bought our new outfit. I bought a dress! Just can’t believe myself!

Happy 3 Years 3 Months

Time flashes. It’s the first 13th of year 2009. It’s our 3 years 3 months anniversary. This also remind me about my “new watch” which was included in the limited edition Sony T2 package which I bought in Dec 2007!!

I don’t know how much do Hamilton watches cost, but O.D.M watches are not cheap as well. Heard that the price is around RM200++.

I haven’t removed the watch from the capsule until last night. It’s really brand new. My colleague even wanted to buy it from me. Hmm..I would like to keep it as a collection of mine as well. Orange also had an O.D.M watch when he bought his Sony T2. If I’m not mistaken, his watch is either black or gray. (matching the camera’s color)

Frankly speaking, I need a little time to “interpret” the time by looking at the watch. Stylish design and most suitable for youngster, don’t you think so?

My New Look in 2009

Hair rebonding has become a trend for some time. I never had it done before until yesterday. I used to say I don’t want to undergo the rebonding process, I want my hair to be natural. I love straight hair. My hair is kinda straight yet messy once awake. I didn’t want to rebond the hair mostly because I saw some examples around that makes the hair look straight in an unnatural way. Furthermore, my hair is quite less, I was afraid that it will look really bad after rebonding.

But still, I went to the salon, which I always go, to make a change!

It was a long process which took me around 3 hours to complete!

This is the outcome after rebonding (straightening) my hair.

This is my current look. Hmm..not get use to seeing me having short fringe once again. Aww..I need to slim my face a little!!

It cost me RM145 (promotion package) which I think is quite worth, as I was also given a C’est shampoo and conditioner.

Wander where I did my hair? Image is the name.

There are several shops with the word “image” as the company name, here in Kuching. If you watched Magicians of Love (爱情魔发师), a Taiwanese drama by 183 club, the salon in the drama is called “Neo Image”. Guess that is where the inspiration (imitation?) came from.

All in all, I’m quite satisfied with the outcome ^^

It Pays to Have Big Eyes

I’m born with a pair of very oriental eyes, which makes my eyes look small and even smaller when I’m feeling tired or sleepy. Last two weeks, I decided to try the black colored contact lens which can make the pupils look bigger.

Are You a Sports Lover?

Previously talked about Paintball. Actually, I’m not so outgoing type and not really into sports game. I don’t even know if it is football season now. Last night when I went to have dinner at a coffee shop, I thought I can watch nice movie from the Astro channel, but the owner switched the channel to the sports channel which a football match was on =.=

Lots of people love to watch such match in public areas, I prefer to stay at home and watch it via web tv or something.There’s a free channel for football fans known as Carlsberg web-tv. You can find out more about it at www.partofthegame.tv.

Seriously, what is so interesting about football? Are you a football fan?

Paintball in Kuching

Some time ago, LeeChien asked me if I know how to play golf. To me, it’s a high class sports game as well as an expensive one. Things like the golf club, golf bags, golf ball, etc…is enough to cost you a lot! And of course, I don’t know how to play golf.

Then, the sporty LeeChien asked me another question, “Do you know anywhere in Kuching that can play paintball?”. I didn’t know until few weeks ago I saw a pamphlet from one of the local sports centers. Sentosa Sports Centre now is offering Paintball games!

This is something new and there’s a promotion known as Ladies Nite Special. This is what stated in the pamphlet I received:

Ladies, now every Tuesday and Thursday you do not need to buy starter pack. This means you just need to buy any of our Top-Up Pallets Package and start playing Paintball. Have an enjoyment game.
