Bee Movie by Steve Hickner
This is another animation from Dreamworks production. It’s a story about bees and the ecosystem. Barry B. Benson is the main character of this animation. One day, he discovered the truth that Human steal their hard work - honey, and he decided to go to court and sue the Human. He met a wonderful florist named Vanessa who actually safe his life during an occasion, and their relationship blossom…
The animation is very cute, although they made those bees able to talk to human. That’s not the point, but what I learn from this animation is, bees spend most of their life working. Don’t look down on their tiny size, they are in fact very important to the ecosystem. If they stop working (like what happened in the animation), pollen will not be spread and flowers cannot blossom.
Some commented that this is totally for kids. Have you watched this movie? What do you think?
It’s been a long time since my last visit to the cineplex. On Wednesday, Orange and I decided to watch movie together to get back the feeling. We watched Beowulf. The storyline is quite okay but I have to say that the animation is near prefect!!

Beowulf by Robert Zemeckis
I’ve been told that this is an animation but I’ve forgotten. The first glance of the scene, I thought it’s real only until Orange told me that it looks like animation. This animation looks realistic, just like the computer graphics we see in World of Warcraft trailer. Read more…
I’ve been waiting for the release of this movie since last year! It has been released for sometime and only until last night I got to watch this movie! Well, a lot of computer graphics involved, but still my type of movie! Great~~~

Dororo by Akihiko Shiota
Why? Because there’s a game called Blood Will Tell (will talk about this in the next post) which I used to enjoy back when those days I was so attached to PS2. But you know me, I seldom finish any games. =.= After watching this movie, I have a feeling of starting to play this game again!! haha..

Resident Evil:Extinction by Russell Mulcahy
I didn’t watch Resident Evil 1 nor 2 and I had watched the new release - Resident Evil:Extinction. I know this movie is base on a video game called “Resident Evil” by Capcom, which means adventure with Zombies!! I ever played Resident Evil: Code Veronica X in my PS2 console but never manage to complete the game, not even half way!
I heard comments of “Don’t expect it to be like the game.”, “Watch then you will know”. Well, now I’ve watched it. The zombies were not as scary as I imagined. I like Milla Jovovich (as Alice in the movie) in action, very cool. The storyline is quite okay. My rating for this movie is 3/5.

200 Pounds Beauty by Kim Yong-hwa 200 Pounds Beauty (미녀는 괴로워) is a South Korean comedy. And also the first Korean movie I ever watched. This movie had been screening in the cinema long time ago, but I haven’t got the chance to watch it. Last Saturday, Orange and I watched the DVD version. Although it is a comedy, several parts, especially the ending part is so touching that I couldn’t hold back my tears. This movie is actually based on a Japanese manga by Suzuki Yumiko. It’s a story about a ‘behind-stage’ singer Kang Han-na and her life of going through a whole body plastic surgery just to win her dream lover’s heart. (Click
here for synopsis.) This movie also involved a lot of singing and they are really nice songs! It is definitely worth watching. Gonna watch it again when I’m free. Giving it 5 stars!
