Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix by David Yates
This time, we went to Riverside cineplex to watch this movie. This is a HELL LONG movie, I felt so uncomfortable sitting in the same position for such a long time. The screen, I don’t know what happen, seemed to lost its focus point from the projector and made it look blurry. Together with my sleepy eyes (not again), watching this movie at 9pm on a weekday like this (we can get cheaper tickets on Wednesdays), really is another mood spoiler.
I rate this a 2.5 star movie. Low rating this time. The story is a bit dull. Frankly speaking, I missed out certain parts when there involved a lot of conversation. My eyes were watching the screen, but I didn’t know what I was watching…So, in fact, I didn’t get the whole story mapped into my mind. Maybe I’m getting old…can’t stay up late for movies…forgive me as I wake up 5.30am every morning, no rest no nothing..directly went to movies. Battery flat…
Anyway, I will watch this again when I have the time..and gonna start watching from part 1…(because I didn’t actually watch part 1 to 3 =.=)
Finally got to watch this movie last night. This movie has been released in the cinema for a while, yet still a lot of people watching it and made me had to watch this movie at 11.30pm. A 2 hours 20 minutes movie. Sitting in the cinema in the fifth row with a pair of tired eyes…really spoiled a little bit of mood. This is also my first time watching movie with my colleagues. The ticket is still selling at RM10 each - oh my god.. (expensive, man~) But luckily I watched this movie in the cinema, if I downloaded it or bought pirated CDs, I will sure fall asleep watching it. Not that I’m saying it is boring or something - the scene is a bit messy when it comes to the fighting between the autobots…
However, I like the storyline. The part when Sam and Bumble Bee need to be separated is really very touching. I rate it 5 out of 5. A action + science fiction movie is nice. Transformers is worth watching, however I won’t watch it the 2nd time (in the cinema) like most people do. I’d rather buy the DVD as a collection and watch at home whenever I want in the future.
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer by Tim Story
Yet another Mavel series superhero movie. If you ever watched Fantastic 4 (2005), you’ll get a clearer picture of what is being shown in this one. Silver Surfer, from the trailer, he seems to be someone “evil” which needs the F4 to handle him. In fact, he’s not the real enemy but Victor, the evil guy which was defeated back in part 1, suddenly sort of resurrected.
A lot of computer graphics here. Nowadays, most movies can’t live without computer graphics. That’s how they get to show the audiences great visual effects. Back to the movie, I give it a 3.5 star. (Note: 5 star is the max, whenever I rate a movie here) The greatest part I like about this movie, is near the ending - when the Silver Surfer believed in Sue and made his choice and saved the Earth. Yea, everyone make their own choices. You can choose who and what you wanna be. You can make a difference, it’s your action that matters.
P/S: Finally get to watch this movie. I’m not a fan of F4, but I’ve wanted to watch this movie for 2 times which I failed to do so. This is kinda satisfactory when you get to watch movie with the one you love since the last visit to the cinema. Although noisy kids were around =.=
Earlier I said that I would give this a 4 star. After knowing that there’s a “secret ending” or “after credits ending”, I think it’s a very beautiful ending - a nice one! I decided to take back my word and rate this a 5 star movie. The reasons why I think that it would be a 4 star:
1. Kinda forget the previous episode storyline
2. What the heck with multiple captain Jack Sparrow?!
3. This story seems to focus more on Will and Elizabeth.. (I love Jack)
Okay, so my friend told me that there was a real ending after the credits, and told me to watch it on YouTube. After watching it, makes me more want to know more about the story behind it..like..after 1o years, does the curse been broken? It was said that there’s an explanation on this issue in Wikipedia, but I haven’t do research on this.
Anyway, here is the “secret ending”, which makes me change my mind of this whole movie, enjoy - though it’s short =)
This morning, went to watch Shrek 3 with my sister Cherry and my best friend Neonplanet (and her younger brother). Well, it’s been a long time I haven’t watch movie in the cinema with them..I would love to have a good chat with my friend but we had things to do.
Back to the movie..okay..This is a funny animation and quite nice with the moral value behind and it’s a must watch if you ever watched Shrek 1 and 2. Yet another good production from DreamWorks. A 4 star movie for me.
