My Google Adsense payment had been issued by Google on 23rd December 2009. Only until this afternoon, I had the time to withdraw the payment via Western Union. I had set my payment on hold for several months due to 2 reasons:

1. Earning is slowing down
2. Lack of time to withdraw money

Recently I am suffering from lacking of “Vitamin M”. Therefore around 2 months ago, I requested a payment released and finally got my payment issued.

As usual, I went to Public Bank to received my payment via Western Union. The accumulated earnings for several months is only approximately $290. Not much, really. But if you convert this to Malaysian Ringgit (RM) at the exchange rate of 3.4, I have received the payment of approximately RM1000.

That’s a lot, because it’s just like an extra income of my one month salary!!

Thank you for all the support. This is actually a good start for a new year and very motivating for me to get back to my online revenue track. I’ll try to optimize my blogs’ SEO.

With some extra income, it can help me with some of my expense, even can help me fulfill my desire like getting ipods or any other gadgets.

After all the clicking for some time, I’ve accumulated around $10 and decided to try to get a payout from Neobux.

Note: The first minimum payout requirement is $2, but I used this balance to buy “rented referrals” to boost up my earning. I’m currently having a Golden membership at Neobux, which can help boost the earning even faster.

Here, I’ll post a little guide on how to use Share A Pic. First thing first, login to your account. To start uploading pictures, create a new gallery (like category sorting purpose) by clicking the “My Galleries” tab.

After that, browse for the pictures that you wanna upload and click the Upload button. You can upload 6 pictures at a time. If you want to upload more than 6 pictures at a time, try the Mass Uploader.

Due to my working hours, I’m not able to visit my regular bank (RHB Bank, I call it the Adsense bank, just for my Adsense payment savings). I notice that Public Bank has just offer Western Union service recently, so I decided to try it out, since there’s a branch located near my office and I have an account there too. (No, you don’t need a bank account to receive Western Union payment)

Here, you can see that the “To Receive Money” Western Union form is slightly different from the one by RHB bank.

Public Bank staff are probably still new with the Western Union thingy. They seem so blur when I told them I want to receive payment via Western Union.  Overheard their conversation, they seem like never handle such case except for sending payments.

After filling up the form and waiting for some time, they finally issue my payment by the rate of 3.357 (exchange rate of 2nd September 2008).

If compare to RHB Bank, I still think the service in Public Bank is not so good yet. Because this transaction requires the authorization of any officer, I had wait more than 5 minutes for a female officer to approve it. She was busy with her things and let me stand there waiting just for her tiny signature. It was my lunch time, so half of my lunch time gone just because of unnecessary waiting.

I requested the staff to help me directly bank in the amount to  my Public Bank account. I thought they will just do everything for me, like what RHB Bank did. It turned out I have to fill up the bank-in slip myself (that’s not a big deal), but to my surprise, they didn’t issue me any Western Union final receipt like what I recieved before from RHB Bank. Weird~

How much I get after the conversion? Enough for me to get a Moen single handle kitchen faucet. But what for I purchase a faucet right? I used this to pay my online orders just now. XD

Eventhough RM55.20 is not a big sum, I still feel happy because this is the first payment I received from the local online advertisement network.  Yes!! I finally received HSBC check from Nuffnang!!!!!

It’s been so long….

Yes, I’m receiving my payment via Western Union. It’s a lot more convenient and faster.

In fact I can go to any Western Union agents available in the city but I choose to go back to RHB Bank because I want them to directly transfer the credits to my RHB Bank account. Save a lot of work and I can still save my money in the bank.  Just like the previous experience, I need to fill up the “Receive Money” form, and past the rest to the agent.

I have to say that the economy is really getting very very bad.  During my previous payment, the exchange rate is 3.321746. But yesterday, the exchange rate is only 3.1659209. Perhaps I should inform Google to hold back my payment or just don’t receive the payment, yet? No, I’m afraid that the exchange rate will become lower next time. So I better get my payment now.

I am working full time and am not able to go around anywhere during office hour. But guess what? Yesterday was my first annual leave ^_^. So I spent the whole day with Orange.

My blog was auto directed to some sort of phising-looking site. I tried again and notice that the status bar of the browser showed the changes of URL loaded. Once it was loading the Advertlets URL, my blog was then directed to other site automatically. At first thought, I think that Advertlets is hacked. Or can it be my browser problem? I tried to visit some of my blogger friends’ blogs that serve Advertlets ads. The same thing happened.

Advertlets.com – “domain name expired on Jan 03, 2008” as shown in the screenshot above. What the heck?! Isn’t this very dangerous? I mean the admin should be aware of the domain expiry date. What if someone else buy their domain and resell at a higher price?

The worse thing is, this cause some auto redirect of websites from the publishers’ blogs! We don’t know when will Advertlets solve the problem. So for the mean time, I suggest that those who serve Advertlets ads, remove the codes temporarily else your readers might not be able to read your blogs!!!

Is the domain name really expired or it has been hacked?

Just checked out the WHOIS for Advertlets.com. From the report, the expiration date is 04 Jan 2010. Does that include the domain name itself?
