How Secure Is Your House?

Category: Random Issue

Today, I’m going to discuss about how secure is your house. Yes, the place where you live in. Do you think alarm system monitoring is essential for your house? How many of you have that system installed?

Such system is installed in my house for some years already.  Not only that, my dad even composed a rule that we have to lock the doors and gate with additional pad lock or with extra slash locks. This includes the door between the living room and the kitchen!  That’s why I feel very frustrated when I get hungry at night.  Going to the kitchen is something very troublesome in the house.

Furthermore, most of the time or should I say every time, we only receive false alarm.  It’s either a cat or a lizard pass by the censor, or it’s us accidentally trigger the alarm by knocking against the fence.  Okay, put it this way.  What if it’s really a burglary.  Are the thieves going to ignore the alarm and continue their task or just leave in a hurry? Think about it.

Get Ready for Valentine

Category: Random Issue

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Have you prepared any gift for your love ones? Yesterday, when I was listening to the local radio station, the DJ mentioned about buying Valentine’s day gift. She stated that we don’t have get others’ opinions to decide what to get for our lovers, because we are the one who know them well and would know what to get for them. After listening to such statement, my expression was like this >>

I always think that it’s easier to get a present for a girl than buying a present for a guy. Girls wear accessories such as gold chain, rings, earrings, etc. All these are great inspiration for guys to think what to buy as a Valentine’s day gift. What about guys? Really need to think for a while. I’m currently running out of ideas what to get for him. Hope I can get something special for him.

Will he give me any surprise?

No Place Is Safe

The most common auto accessories that will be installed in our cars is the audio system such as CD/MP3 players. Yesterday during blog hopping, I saw a friend mentioned about his CD player being stolen and of course the windows of his car was been broken.

Just a sample pic of window breakage This reminds me of what happened to my car last year when the window of my car was broken yet nothing was stolen. I assumed the thief wanted to steal my CD player and maybe someone realized, therefore his plan failed.

From that day onwards, I am very caution and always remember to remove my CD player and bring along with me after I park my car in the public. I may look like a nerd, but it’s better than repeating the same incident right? Beware, nowadays people are getting sick, doing all sort of harmful things.

Life Insurance

Category: Random Issue

How will you manage your earnings? Will you consider buying life insurance for you or perhaps including your family members? Sometime ago, when I was blog hopping in the blogosphere, I saw someone mentioned about how insufficient is the income of a person (especially those that provide financial support) From the list of how they manage the earnings, insurance is included.

Now, here comes the question. Is insurance, especially life insurance, essential to you? If you are being prudent, you will sure consider to buy yourself a life insurance. However, I think that insurance is really an investment, if you have too little income that is just enough for you to cover your daily expenses, I don’t think you will even think about buying one.

But if you are willing to buy an insurance, there are so many out there but you have to read their policies carefully before purchasing any. Do you insure your life?

Truck Rack

Category: Random Issue

Not everybody need this. Truck rack. I don’t need it, but it will be useful for my dad. Being in the construction field, his truck might need a truck rack to hold the ladders around whenever he goes to his working site.

In Kuching, I seldom see trucks with a truck rack. Most of the time, I see ladders just tied to at the end of the truck, and sometimes a red cloth is hung there as an alert to other drivers. I can only recall that the Telekom vans have a rack on top of the van to support the ladder.

Speaking about Telekom, remind me of Streamyx - an ISP in Malaysia. These few days the connection really sucks. Those in Malaysia, is your line fine?
