Jigoku Shoujo is one of my favorite anime. It is a story of how people take revenge by a special mean - Jigoku Tsushin, the Hell Correspondence website.
Title: Jigoku Shoujo (Season 1)
Alternative Title: 地狱少女 / Hell Girl / The Girl From Hell
Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity)
Plot Summary: Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there’s a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.
If you wanna watch this anime, great news, I’ve uploaded and put the links here: Read more…
Do you still remember her? She is Alan. Most of the time spelled as “alan”. This is her posture for her EP, Red Cliff. Yes, for the most expensive Asian movie - Red Cliff.
I really love alan for her talent and beauty. After “packaging” by Avex, alan looks totally like a Japanese idol. You won’t believe she is a Tibetan who is raised in Sichuan China. Sometimes at certain angle, she looks a bit like Ayumi Hamasaki. (my opinion, though) Read more…
Mid Autumn Festival, also known as Mooncake festival falls on 15th August of the Lunar calendar every year. Today is Mid Autumn Festival. Typical Chinese family will be celebrating this day by eating mooncakes, having reunion family dinner, as well as walking around with paper lanterns!
Last night, Orange and I were invited by a friend of ours, namely Patrick, to a mooncake festival party like what we did last year. No BBQ for this year, food and drinks were simple yet delicious. After having our meal like macaroni, sausage salad, mooncakes, etc….we went out the house to lid the lanterns. Read more…
Wow…it’s another 13th! It’s my 2 years and 11 months time spent together with Orange. It supposed to be a public holiday today, but due to the fasting month (Bulan Puasa) for the muslims, the public holiday is canceled and posponded to another date next month. Today (13th September) is the birthday of T.Y.T Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak. He can’t celebrate (like throwing a party) during the fasting month, hence the pospond.
Dang! This make me unable to spend whole day with Orange. I have to go to work. (No more working half day on Saturdays like the good old days)
Anyway, recently in the office, I listen several old songs from my colleagues’ speakers. One of it is Yesterday Once More. Haven’t listen to this song for quite some time already. I’d love to dedicate this song to Orange, especially this Youtube acoustic version!!
Man!!! This kid is so young and he is playing the guitar so well! OMFG?! Kill me please. He is Sungha Jung. Don’t you think he is great?
I can’t resist those who know how to play musical instruments~
It’s been quite some time since I received an award for this blog. Well, not that kind of real award, but web award which is passed to one blogger to another. Some time ago, Eila and Melbie had nominated this blog for the Brillante Weblog Premio 2008 award.
Although I don’t quite understand the meaning of this award, I’m glad to be nominated. Thanks!
Off topic: I just can’t believe I spent around 8 hours in the office without Internet connection!! I spent hours staring at the monitor…
