Life is Unpredictable

Category: Random Issue

What is life? Many of us ponder about this question. Some found their answers and some still searching. The meaning of life defers from our wisdom. Sometime ago, I subscribed to a free book called “What is Your Destiny?” (I like free stuff, so I just order) and they really shipped to my doorstep. Since life and destiny is related, so I read the booklet. The answer is not satisfying me, to be frank - over religiousness.

No matter what life is meant to you, it is precious and really unpredicatable. Therefore, a business opportunity known as the life insurance is created (for money sake?).

We know that Thailand is really creative with their advertisement, and normally very funny. But they can be touching as well. Check this advertisement below.

Now, do you think that life is precious and unpredictable?

Longest Vehicle in the World

Category: Cute/Interesting

A: What is the logest vehicle in size in the world?
B: Train?
A: Nope…it’s car-in-a-row-during-traffic-jam.
B: ….

That’s a typical Chinese joke. The answer is “sai che” (塞车) which means traffic jam, and lots of cars queueing in the row.

Orange was supposed to reach home on the 3rd but because of a car accident, he had to pospond his return and headed back to Sri Aman before going back to Kuching. Hence, I waited for another one day before his return, how bored I was, back then.

Here is a video clip taken during the car accident, just take a look at how serious it had cause the traffic jam!! There were four cars having collision with one another. The car owners would have to claim their car insurance. How on earth can such accident happen? Drunk?

Always be Prudent

Category: Random Issue

Few days ago, I read an article from BBC News reporting that termites ruined everything in the bank safe deposit box of an Indian trader. Dwarika Prasad, victim of this incident, had deposited currency notes and investment papers worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in the bank safe. The bank claimed that they have put up a notice warning customers of the termites. Which also indicates that they don’t want to take responsibility against this matter. Poor guy!

We always can’t predict what will happen in the future. So, we have to always be prudent. There’s a Chinese idiom goes “Prepare before the rain”. Something like bring along your umbrella when you are going out regardless of the weather. That’s it! So, if you own a house, you will also like to insure your house with home insurance.

However, different policies cover different things. So please do make sure that the home insurance you buy suits your needs. You may also want to check if they cover the termites issue!!
