I found this cute pink blouse and decided to try it out. I love it, and think it looks good. Being mischievous, I took out my cellphone and started taking some pix. For a chubby girl like me, it’s not hard to “squeeze” and make that “cleavage”, just hold both hands close together and you can get that “effect” which fulfill most guys’ fantasy.

I thought of making this pic my profile display pic. AND THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN FISH A LOT OF PERVERT GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Celcom 3G broadband is something came into my mind. Technology has evolved rapidly these few years, now you can connect to the Internet via different medium. There are several plans available, at last I decided to sign up for Celcom Broadband Basic plan which cost RM68 monthly. You need a USB modem in order to connect to this broadband. I bought a Huawei E160E USB modem. Including the first month payment for the service, I spent RM467.00: RM68 for the broadband plan, RM399 for the modem. (dealer price, that’s the best thing I can get when working in my current company *evil grin*)

This is the lastest model, according to my colleague. If you don’t know what is a USB modem, perhaps you have heard of Vodafone? E160E has very simple and neat design, smaller in size and easy to bring along.

p/s: Argh, I know…my nail polish is fading…

With Celcom SIM card and the USB modem, Orange is able to connect to the Internet once again. It just feel like a fish in water (如鱼得水). Orange is once again — “alive”.

I’m happy too, because now I can continue communicate with Orange through Windows Live Messenger when I’m at home. ^_^

A sudden thought stroke in my mind. Why not try to use Gmail? Yes,  I do have a Gmail account but it’s not my primary email. The best thing about Gmail is each email with replies is just like a conversation. You can easily refer back to what have been discussed previously without recalling or searching the old archives.

Another great thing Gmail offers to its user is the ability to change theme (appearance) of the interface. Some themes even changes according to the time zone (weather) you are in, provided you enter the correct location.

Back to Yahoo! mail. If I’m not mistaken, Yahoo! mail as a feature called “Stationery” and was only available if you pay (like upgrade your account to Yahoo! mail plus). Only until today, I just realized that the “Stationery” is now FREE for everyone! It’s just like a theme or layout of your content which you are going to send to the receiptients.

There are several themes available and I tried to send an email from my Yahoo! mail to my Gmail account.

I’ll still stick with Yahoo! mail and will use Gmail for some special purposes.

Yesterday (10th Jan, GMT+8), Google finally changed its favicon too a really colorful one!

Google got the inspiration from a computer science undergraduate student at the University of Campinas in Brazil. As you know that Google had open the favicon design submission.

I think the new favicon is quite nice, much better than the previous one (the one with small letter “g”). What do you think?

What ISP are you using? In Malaysia, we have Streamyx broadband and other ISP. Sad to say that in Sarawak, the only broadband service we have here so far is only Streamyx. It sucks a lot recently!! Search around the net, you can find a lot of complaints about this ISP. Orange is frustrated with the situation too!

Even if I have the best cable and or Cat5e Keystone jack, I still can’t get a good connection, because it’s the ISP that matters. I hate the phrase “Service Interruption” from Streamyx. I found out an announcement made on 13th August from Streamyx, saying that they are undergoing an email upgrading exercise. Does that explain why recently I always get “Page Load Error”  or “Connection Interrupted” errors in my Firefox browser??!?!

The worse thing is, how long do they need just to upgrade the email service? “14th August 2008 until Tuesday, 2nd September 2008.” (source), stated Streamyx. Gosh!! They are not punctual as well.

Normal Internet user may not feel much difference, but for hardcore user like us, we need to upload and download a lot of things, it’s really irritating to have bad connection!

What is pop-under anywhere? It’s the annoying online advertisement which appears “beneath” / behind your current active browser. Once the advertisement is launched, it will automatically open up a new window, showing ads without really disturbing you for the time being, until you close your current browser. (then you will have to close those extra meaningless windows)

If you are using Firefox, you can disable pop-unders in just few steps!

In your browser URL, type about:config and press enter.Then you will see something like this, if you are using Firefox 3.

This is something new in Firefox, and it generates random title like “Here be dragons!” or “This might void your warranty!”. Interesting, right? Click the button to continue.

Right click any where and select New > Integer with the preference name of privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins and enter 2 for the value. Close the config window and you’re done.

Some other possible values are:

0: Allow all popups from plugins.
1: Allow popups, but limit them to dom.popup_maximum.
2: Block popups from plugins.
3: Block popups from plugins, even on whitelisted sites.
